Reaching the foothills a day early, Kyra gave her men the rest of what was left of the sun light to set up camp.

As they traveled, the hunters had killed enough food to last everyone a few days. Kyra advised them to save as much as they could during their travel through the mountains. They wouldn't be able to hunt once they start cliaming.

While their food was cooking, Kyra and Adrianus looked over the map again. "We should be about here, in King Odell's territory. The others should be about here, another fews days away." Adriamus advised.

"We need to get Amear in here. He knows these mountains." he added.

"Then go get him. We need to get everything lined out before sun up." Kyra ordered unknowingly.

Seeing the surprised that fell on her father's face, she was about to apologized until he raised his hand. "I understand. You are above me so don't feel bad."

Just before he walked out he turned, "A Knight Captain fits you." he smiled before disappearing behind the tent flap.

The path that Amear had sugguested was going to be difficult. Not only did they have to claim, they would have to cross a few roads. That is challaging on it's own as they needed to stay out of site.

Once their meeting was over, Kyra advised Amear to inform everyone that they would be leaving at sun raise.

In a deep sleep, Kyra found herself on the battle field. The smell of smoke and flesh filled the air. Cries of the wounded ecoed as hunders of bodies covered the red ground.

She noticed that her own body was covered and with each move she made pain shot throughout her body as she was fighting against the odds of serviving.

It seemed like the more men she killed twice as many appeared. She wasn't going down that easy as she was fighting til the end. Then a long loud horn echoed acrossed the field.

Taking a few more swings, she realized that they had stopped fighting. Hearing the horn again, she looked up and in the distance she saw a handful of people on horse back. But she was unable to make anyone out.

Looking around she also noticed that she was the only one out of her men who was still standing. Looking down she saw her father. Seeing him she let out a cry.

Waking up in a bed of sweat, Kyra sat there as the room slowly came into focus. A sigh of relief washed over her when she saw her father sleeping on the far side of the tent.

It took her awhile but she manage to get her body relaxed enough to fall back to sleep.

That morning, they were up and through the foothills and within a few hours they were at the bass of the Silverash Mountains.

Following an animal trail through up and over the first mountain. It wrapped around the second where it acrossed a road.

Stopping her men in the some what tall over groath, she whipped the sweat from her face from her helment before turning to her men. "I need on of you to step forward."

When no one did, she wasn't to happy as she turned to the nearest warrior and ordered, "You. Find out where this road leads and report back to me as quick as you can."

He hit his chest, "Yes Lady Knight Kyra."

It was close to an hour before her man returned. Hitting his chest, "It is a good walk. We are open for a ways before we come to the next cover area. There is a stream that follows the road a little ways. It's about twenty or so feet down."

Not like what she heard, she nodded, "We need to hurry then." Turning to her father, "Being second in charged, I need you on the other end. Take a small group with you. I will give enough time for you to get across before I send another."

"Be careful." Adrianus rested his hand on his daughter's shoulder.

"You too." she replied.

It took over an hour an a half before the last group made their way across. As they quickly made their way down the road, Kyra's power of site picked up a small group making their way tours them.

Her powers doesn't go into great detail, just a black and white image in her head and the movement that is traveling in the ground shows her how many. She couldn't make out how they are but there is a carrage and men on horse back.

Knowing they wouldn't make it to the end without being seen, she readed her men. "We must fight. There is no way out of it."

The last think Kyra wanted was a fight, but she had no choice. Six horsemen surrounding a royal carrage came into site. When they saw her, the carrageman whipped the horses into a dead run while horsemen pulled their swords and bows.

"Get the horsemen!" Kyra yelled as she readied herself for the ramming speed of the carrage. The carrage was taking up the whole road but her men manage to hug the mountain side to get by.

Timing it just right, Kyra jumped on the side and quickly cliamed up to the top of the carrage. There, a young dark skinned woman waited.

"You just signed your death wish." the woman charged.

This woman was skilled but she was no match for her skills. With her powers the woman couldn't get an opening as she was blocked everytime. So the young woman started using her magic.

Fighting off the attack, Kyra used her power to unto the horses from the carrage. Once they were apart, she used her powers to lay it on it's side. Just as she tilted it, she jumped free as it fell.

When the woman flow off, the carrage came to a stop Kyra heard a young boy's voice shout out, "Beryl!"

Hearing the boy's voice caused something inside Kyra to stir. Not understanding she felt like she needed to protect the boy. Then when he cliamed out, she stood there looking at him.

He looked to be about twelve or so, short brown hair and there was so much fear in his hazel eyes.

"You will not touch him!" The woman threaten as she got between her and the boy.

There was no mistacking the feeling to protect this boy. She wouldn't have killed him anyways being so young but she would kill even her men if they landed a hand on him.

Coming to a decision, Kyra needed to put up a front. As she attacked, she used her powers to move the boy off the carrage and behind the woman who she was attacking.

Avoiding the blue magic fire balls, Kyra stopped them just shy off the edge of the cliff.

"Please. He's just a child." The woman begged, "He has so much to look forward to dying at a young age. So please spear him. Take me instead." she dropped her sword.

Kyra used her powers and placed the sword back into the woman's hand. The woman tried to drop it again but couldn't.

"Does this stream run near a village?" Kyra asked as she slowly walked tours them.

The woman didn't answer as she kept the boy close to her.

"If you both want to live then you will tell me if this stream runs near a village." Kyra asked again this time she readied her sword.

"Yes."

"Good." Kyra's face soften as she got ready to attack. "When you get to the village. Inform who ever you need to on what you saw here." And with that, Kyra used her powers to push them off.

Giuding them down saftly and around the rocks in the water. Kyra soon pushed them to the other side of the stream.

Kyra made eye contact with the woman. Nodding in the understanding that her message will get delievered. She turned and disappeared out of site.
