"Wiped out?" I echoed. "How?"
"You both are supposed to help us. You'll help us defend the human race. If you don't, you all die." Curtis and I looked at each other. I nodded at him and he nodded back.
"Okay, we'll help you." We agreed.
"Excellent." Her eyes started glowing for a few seconds, then she blinked a few times as the glowing faded. "The Great Spirit wants to see you both."
"How?" Curtis asked.
"I can take you there. But you both might want to put some pants on before I take you there." I looked down and realized we were both only in our boxers. My face was burning as I looked back up at her and started laughing nervously. I stood up and bolted into my room. Once I put on my clothes, I went back into the living room and waited for Curtis to come back. Once he did, Stella lead us onto the roof. She turned into a Thunderbird, motioned her head back and outstretched her wing. I think she wants us to climb on. I walked up her wing and sat down on her back, Curtis following my lead. Once we sat down, I wrapped my arms around her neck, then she took off. I tried not to scream. We were soaring through the clouds and the next thing I knew, Stella was dodging trees. Wait, trees?! We were just in the clouds!! Stella perched on a giant branch and outstretched her wing to the ground. Curtis and I climbed off and she hopped onto the round.
"Thank you for bringing them so quickly, Steltella." A woman's voice said from the trees as she walked into the clearing we were in. She looked like a Native American woman you'd see in the history stuff. She was tan, wearing animal skins, had dark brown hair and eyes. Her hair had beads and feathers in it and she had a basket full of berries in her hand.
"It was my pleasure, Great Spirit." Stella responded as she bowed her head. I followed her lead and bowed to the Great Spirit.
"You may rise." I stood up straight and looked into her dark brown eyes. "I see you both have accepted the prophecy."
"Yeah, but how can we help?" I asked the Great Spirit.
"You do not know this, but both of you are the descendants of entities."
"What?"
She looked at me. "Erik, you are descendant of the Shark King." She looked at Curtis. "And Curtis, you are a descendant of the Adlets."
"What an Adlet?" He asked.
"It's basically what you humans call Werewolves." Stella answered. "Only you can control your transformations and have more abilities."
"Sweet!"
"We shall teach you to use and control your power. We will start with you, Curtis. You need to find your inner Adlet deep in your soul. Once you find it, let it be free." Curtis closed his eyes and after a few seconds, he started to grow fur. His ears moved to the top of his head and he started to grow a muzzle and tail. Once he opened his eyes, he looked at himself.
"I did it!" His tail was wagging excitedly.
"Are you sure?" I joked. "You look the same to me."
"Shut up!"
"To change back, just imagine your human self." The Great Spirit told Curtis. He closed his eyes and changed back into a human. The Great Spirit looked at me. "Now it is your turn, Erik. There is a lake over there." She pointed off to the side. "Steltella will teach you what to do."
"Follow me." Stella said, then started to walk in the direction the Great Spirit pointed. I followed her to the lake. "First, go into the water." She walked into the water until it was at her elbows and I did the same. "Next, go completely underwater. You'll feel your inner shark wanting to come out. Embrace that feeling." She submerged, I took in a breath and did the same. I could feel something. I feel like a cold-blooded predator. I felt my legs and arms turning into fins. I could feel a dorsal fin growing on my back, two more rows of teeth growing in my mouth and gills growing on my neck. I did it! I'm a shark! I turned and saw Stella as a Mishi-thing.
"Good." She told me. "The Great Spirit will want to see that you succeeded." I swam up to the surface really fast and did one of those shark jumps. Once I got back into the water, I swam over to the shore that Curtis and the Great Spirit were at. Stella walked out from the water and faced me. "The way to change back's exactly how Curtis' is." I pictured my human self and felt myself changed back. I was dripping wet and Stella started licking her paws.
"You now know how to transform entirely." The Great Spirit told us. "Steltella will teach you how to do different parts of your transformations individually." She looked at Stella. "Show them the prophecy."
"As you wish, Great Spirit. Shall we go now?"
"Yes." Stella changed into a Thunderbird and Curtis and I climbed on her back.
"Bye spirit lady!" Curtis called as we took off. Stella flew to the cave she took us to yesterday. Once she landed in there, we got off her and she turned back into a human, she led us deeper into the cave. We went so far into the cave, I couldn't see anything. Then a light came and revealed Stella had just lit a torch somehow. She held up the torch to reveal drawings on the wall of the cave. One of them looked like Curtis and I. The next was of Stella. After that was a drawing of a shark, Curtis in his wolf form, a Mishi-whatever and a Thunderbird on its shoulder. The last one was of a bunch of different creatures, including the giant lizards that came here yesterday.
"This is the prophecy." Stella told us.
"Who's the Mishipasho?" I asked her. I said that wrong, didn't I?
"Mee-shee-peh-shoo. And it's my father. The Thunderbird's me."
"What about your mom?"
My mother's dead."
I instantly felt bad about asking that. "Oh, I'm so sorry. I didn't know."
"You didn't know her, but she was kind and loving. She could make anyone smile. That's why Father loved her. That's why everyone liked her...except the being that killed her. The Wendigo that killed her out of jealousy. But one day, she'll come out, and I'll find her."
"Why can't you go after her now?" Curtis asked her.
"Wendigoes can disguise themselves as humans. But she'll have to come out of hiding sometime, and when she does, I'll be waiting... I should probably be taking you both home." She walked to the mouth of the cave, with us following her, and turned into a Thunderbird. We climbed onto her back and she flew us home.
"Will we see you again?" I asked her as I climbed off her back.
"Yes. I'll come back tomorrow for training." I smiled, then noticed Curtis staring at me with wide eyes. He smirked at me after a few seconds.
"What?" I asked him.
"Oh, nothing." He answered. Stella flew off and Curtis started laughing.
"Why're you laughing?"
"Come on, Erik! It's obvious you love Stella!"
"I do not!"
"Don't deny it! You said you felt drawn to her in your dream, you smiled when she said she was coming back, you were embarrassed when she mentioned neither of us were wearing pants this morning."
"And you weren't?"
"Not as much as you! You were tomato red and bolted into your room."
"That doesn't mean I love her! I just think she's cool."
"Yeah, sure. Just keep telling yourself that." Whatever! I do not love Stella!

Alright, I think this is going pretty good so far. If you want me to keep going, tell me. If nothing happens on my stories; I take it as nobody likes it. So if you want me to keep this up, please tell me.
