---------------Erik's POV--------------

We came home from our tour and Curtis and I were both tired as Hell. I walked into my room, flopped onto my bed and I fell asleep the instant my face hit the pillow.

I was in a forest. There was this girl about my age there. Her mid-back length hair was jet black and she was wearing an outfit that looks like what the Native Americans would wear. She was tan and had beads and feathers in her hair. She seemed mesmerized on something in the trees and I felt drawn to her for some reason. I walked up to her and stopped once I was a few feet away from her. She had sparks emanating from her.

"Uhm..." I said, not sure what to say. She looked at me and the sparks started to intensify. "Whoa, calm down! I'm not gonna try anything!" The sparks weakened, but didn't stop. "My name's Erik." Her eyes had realization in them. I noticed one of her eyes was black as coal, the other was electric yellow. "Can I ask what you're doing here?" She jerked her head towards at a group of trees, started to walk towards them and motioned for me to follow her. I obeyed and followed until we got the end of the trees. There was a thunderstorm in the sky that was really close to us. She pointed at it. "The storm?" She nodded. "What about it?" She ran towards the storm. "Wait!" I followed her until she got hit by a bolt of lightning. She disappeared in a flash, then I got struck.

I woke up the next morning with a weird feeling. I got dressed and walked into the kitchen to find Curtis already eating cereal.

"Morning, Erik." He said.

"Morning." I responded as I walked over to the cabinet for a bowl.

"What's up?"

I went over to the cereal. "I had a weird dream last night."

"Really? Do tell."

"Well, I was in a forest and there was this girl there. She looked mesmerized on something deep in the trees and she had sparks coming off of her. I felt drawn to her for some reason. I walked up to her and got her attention. She looked at me and the sparks emanating from her get more intense. I told her I wasn't going to try anything and the sparks died down." I was making myself some cereal as I was telling the story.

"Go on."

"I asked her what she was doing there and she led me to the edge of the forest and pointed at a thunderstorm. She ran into it, got struck by lightning and disappeared."

"Wow. That is weird."

"Yeah, and I have no idea what it means."

----------Later that day-----------

It was storming outside. I feel like she's there. The girl from my dream. I climbed onto the roof and looked up at the sky.

"WHERE ARE YOU?!?!" I yelled at the sky.

"Erik?" Curtis' voice said behind me. I looked back and he was standing there, staring at me. "Why're you screaming at the sky?"

"I feel like she's here." I looked back up at the sky. "WHERE'S THAT GIRL FROM MY DREAM?!?! SHOW YOURSELF!!!"

"Uh, Erik." He started as he walked towards me. "I don't think yelling at the sky's gonna make her appear."

Right as he finished that sentence, something big and jet black swooped down from the sky and we were both picked up. It flew off with us in its talons, which were bigger than us.

I looked down at the ground. If this thing drops us, we'll splatter all over the street!

"PLEASEDON'TDROPUS! PLEASEDON'TDROPUS! PLEASEDON'TDROPUS! PLEASEDON'TDROPUS!" Curtis pleaded with it as I squeezed my eyes shut.
