Lexa's POV

After two days, my apartment was ready and I was just sitting on my couch, drinking a coffee and watching football.
Usually I drink a beer while watching, well maybe some more, but I had to find a work place.
Just because I inherited some money from my parents, it doesn't mean, that I have to live from it.
"I thought you watching that game Lexa?", I heard Raven, as she was sitting next to me.
"I do."
"And why are you looking constantly on your notebook?"
"Broncos leading 15 to 7 and another point is going to happen. I am focusing on both, Raven." I laughed a bit, as I looked to my best friend.
Raven laughed and shook her head.
"You were perfect in this since I know you."
"What?", with uplifted eyebrow I looked to the younger one.
"Doing different things at the same time. Even at college. You worked on your notebook, while watching football and you thought about your outfit for another party, in an hour."
"I am just a woman.", I winked at her, which let her laugh again.
"Yeah you are and that's what you've always been.", she smiled, which let me smile too.
Raven was the only one on collage, who accepted me for what I was. For who I am.
She defend me over and over again, resulting in a three months sacking of college.
"I have to find a work, Raven. That's what you should also do."
"I got one.", I was surprised.
"The bar, down the street, that's where I work.", she smiled and I understood.
"And what are you searching for?"
"I thought of a job at a local high school. I mean I studied Maths and Sports.", I shrugged my shoulders, while drinking from my coffee again.
"Do it then. I can imagine all the love of the students you'll get than. Especially the young boys.", I laughed silently again and punched my best friends arm.
"Ouch?", Raven laughed, which resulted in me grinning.
"You know, that young boys are the least thing I think of."
"I know, that there is only one woman in the world for you and she doesn't even know that you exist, respectively that you are living right in front of her." I deeply breathed and laid my head in my neck.
"We have seen each other, so she knows that I am real", I closed the notebook and put it away, before I was going into the kitchen.
"Oh wow, those little words you've exchanged Lexa. Maybe you should go over and talk a bit with her, so she'll know you better. And maybe you can tell her who you really are"
"It's not that easy Raven. She doesn't know who I am. She doesn't know that she already knows me. It would destroy both of us. Also, she is already engaged, I won't go between this." I said as I saw to her.
Raven sighed and nodded understanding.
"I'm going to sleep now. Tomorrow I will drive to that school. They definitely are on the watch for both classes, maybe I have luck." I shrugged my shoulders, before I got to my bedroom and just fell on the bed, before I just slept away, few seconds later.

I was up very early on the next morning, mostly because Raven's excessive noise in our apartment woke me up.
"Gosh, Reyes, what great hullabaloo do you make?", I mumbled annoyed, as I walked in the kitchen.
"Breakfast", shrugged the younger one with her shoulders, which let me deep breath.
This woman was a pain in my neck.
"At 8 a.m.?"
"Didn't you want to go to that high school?", I breathed deep again, before I got into the shower.
I undid my clothes, before I got into the shower and enjoyed the water dropping on my skin.
It costs me time and mostly strength to be, who I really was.
Also much hate and derision.
The most people don't want to accept me for who I am.
For my parents it first wasn't that easy, but later they accepted and supported me.
That was the reason, why we moved and why I cancelled the touch with Clarke.
I shook my head, before I showered and right after it I left the shower.
I laid the towel around and on my body, before I got into my room and changed my clothes.
I needed to find the right Outfit, which could be accepted in that high school.
I wanted to leave a good first impression.
Who could've say, how many people were applying for this job.
Those jobs were gone fast normally.
This job was the chance to stand straight.
I tried it for years.

After I changed and burnished my hair, I went back to Raven.
"How is this?", I asked the black haired, when I stood in front of her in a pantsuit.
Raven looked at me shortly front my top to my bottom, before she nodded smiling.
"Perfect, Lexa", she smiled, which let me smile too.
I leaned on the counter and drank a bit from my coffee, which Raven gave me.
I also ate the pancakes, while I was playing with a whisp of my hair.
I was nervous and I always did this.
Nervous, and I wasn't even out of the house.
"You will do fine, Lexa. You are a good person and you know what you want. And till now you got all you wanted. Just show them, that you are the right one for this job, because you are the right one.", she smiled, as she poured the coffee in my thermos cup.
"What would I do without you?", I laughed, as I took my car keys and put on my shoes.
"I bet you won't eat real breakfast or drink good coffee.", I giggled, as I took the bag, which she held to me.
"Now I know, why Clarke is thinking, that we are a couple", Raven looked to me confused.
"You are behaving like you are my wife and we are just best friends", the younger one giggled, as she shoved me out of the door.
"Watch out, that you are on the right time, because today is important for you."
"Thank you Raven, really. Thank you for everything.", she smiled, when I gave her a kiss on her cheek and a second later I was out of the house and drove with my car to the high school.
