The Salvatore Sister Chapter Two

The Return

This is a continued story from the first Salvatore Sister. I want to make it clear that all characters of the vampire diaries belong to L.J Smith, and the producers of the vampire diaries. I only own Skylar Salvatore and her story.

John was walking over to the fridge pulling out a drink, jumping when he closed the door. Katherine stood there leaning up against the counter watching him, "you scared me."

"Sorry," she mumbled pushing off the counter and walking over to the sink.

John followed her, "Is Jenna home?"

"She had to meet the fire chief about the building. She doesn't know the truth, they covered that up."

"Yeah I know, how's Jeremy?"

Head turned towards the ceiling she said, "Hold up in his room."

Elena walked up the steps of the front porch, "I looked everywhere."

"What do you think, someone stole it?" Stefan asked as Elena held the phone to her ear.

"Yeah, someone definitely took my stuff."

John looked down at what Katherine was doing, "can I help?"

She looked up at him, "Sure."

"You want me to pick you up?" Stefan asked.

Elena sighed putting her key into the door, 'I'm just gonna check on Jeremy before I go to the hospital, can you meet me there?"

"You bet."

"Ok, I love you Stefan."

"I love you too."

Katherine looks back up at John and looks down at his hand. Quicky using her vampire speed she cuts off his fingers.

Shoving him up against the counter she smiled, "Katherine?"

Her face started to change, as veins appeared under her eyes she smiled. "Hello John, Goodbye John." Then she thrusted the knife forward into his stomach.

Elena pushed open the front door, and set her keys down on the post of the stairs, as she glanced up towards the top, "Jeremy? Are you up?"

There's a crash in the kitchen, Elena looks down the hall brows furrowed as she started towards the noise.

Elena gasped as she saw John on the floor with a bloody knife next to him. She rushed over to him and looked around frantically. Seeing the phone on the counter she grabbed it as John watched her.

"Hi I need an ambulance to 2104 Maple Street," Elena said frantically into the phone.

"Behind you," John said as Elena furrowed her brows at him.

"What?"

"Behind you." Elena gasps and whips around to see nothing as Katherine had disappeared.

Elena turned back to John and picked up the knife from the floor. Getting up Elena turned to look at both entryways waiting. She peeks into the hallway and starts down it, Katherine passes behind her and Elena whips around gasping, seeing nothing. Katherine watched Elena as she appeared in the living room, then she vamped out slamming the front door behind her, as Elena gasped out loud and looked at the door.

Elena watched the door waiting for something anything when she remembered, "Jeremy." Elena turned her head looking upstairs as she grabbed the railing, "Jeremy! Jeremy!" bursting in through the door Elena ran over to the bed and started shaking Jeremy's shoulder. "Jeremy please wake up." Elena jumped back as Jeremy gasped waking up.
