The Salvatore Sister Chapter Two

Katerina and Skylar

Bulgaria 1490

Katherine pushes her head back into the pillows as she cries and screams out in pain. She was delivering a baby. Her mother rushes back into the small room and goes over setting the bowl of water down and looking to Katherine. "A little more dearest, a little more." Her mother encourages speaking in Bulgarian tongue. "Push....a little more. A little more. A little more. Push!"

Katherine pushes and screams. Hearing the cries of a baby, Katherine takes a deep breath as she stops pushing hearing her baby cry out for her. Her mother takes the baby and smiles. "It's a girl." Her mother says.

"A girl. Please mother, let me see her." Katherine pleads in her foreign tongue.

Her mother walks over and goes to hand Katherine her daughter,, "Woman, don't! What are you doing?" The father screams.

Katherine's father takes the baby from her and glares in Katherine's direction. "Let me at least hold her once...just once. Father" Katherine cries.

"Forget it! You have disgraced this family." He exclaims and leaves the room with the baby.

Salvatore Boarding House (Present Day)

Elena walks up and knocks on the door. Damon opens it and looks at her and smiles, "Hello, Elena."

"Is Stefan here? He called. He said it was important." She says looking up to Damon. 

"Right this way." Damon pushes the door open a little wider letting Elena pass into the house.

Elena stops in the foyer and glances over to see Stefan, "Hey." He says and gives her a light smile.

"What is this about?" Elena asks before Rose appears behind Stefan, "you." Elena says recognizing the woman who had abducted her.

In the living room, Skylar stands in the back away from the conversation. She just wanted to listen not participate, she had already heard what Rose had to say and she was devastated to learn about the real Elijah. Elena takes a seat on the couch and looks up toward Stefan and Damon, but Rose speaks up first.

"Okay, you have to understand I only know what I've picked up over the years and I don't know what's true and what's not true. It's the problem with all this vampire crap but Klaus, I know he's real." Rose explains.

"Who is he?" Elena asks.

"He's one of the originals, he's a legend." Damon pipes up.

"From the first generation of vampires," Stefan adds.

"Like Elijah?" Eleans asks.

"No. Elijah was the Easter bunny compared to Klaus. He's a foot soldier. Klaus is the real deal." Rose says.

"Klaus is known to be the oldest."

"Okay, so you're saying that the oldest vampire in the history of time is coming after me?" Elena asks confused.

"Yes." Rose says.

"No." Stefan then says and looks at Rose.

Damon sighs, "What they're saying is, I mean if what she's saying is true..." he starts.

"Which it is." Rose interrupts.

"And you're not saying it so I don't kill you," Damon adds.

"Which I'm not."

"Then we're looking at a solid maybe." He finishes.

"Look, Elijah's dead, right? So no one else even knows that you exist." Stefan says and makes his way over to Elena sitting beside her.
