*Catherine's P.O.V.*

"My problem?! I wasn't the one who brought my boyfriend with me when we were supposed to hang out alone!"

"What?" my eyes widened and so did Hayden's.

"N-Nothing," he stuttered and tried to walk away.

Yeah, tried. Because I grabbed him by his sleeve and pulled him back.

"What the fuck is wrong with you?"

"I don't know, okay? I don't know what's wrong with me!" he shouted angrily.

I didn't know what to say. His eyes were dark and it scared me seeing him like that. Though, he remained attractive to my eyes, fact that made me realise I was slowly becoming into him. Even though I didn't know him that well, during the time we spent together -because of Elsa, of course- I felt some kind of connection. It is nice to have someone paying attention to you, you know?

"Hayden is not my boyfriend," I felt the need to tell him. Again, I didn't know the reason.

"Good," he whispered back, stepping closer to me. He slowly reached forward and took my hand in his, caressing the back of it with his thumb.

The gesture seemed awkward at first and if it wasn't Tyler who did it I would find it kind of creepy, but it was nice and pretty comforting. They always say 'one step at a time', anyway, right?

Hayden cleared his throat, making both of us back away.

"Look," he started. "I really don't have a problem with you trying to win her love or whatever you call that, but I swear; if you hurt my best friend, I'll kill you."

"Woah, woah, there!" I shook my hand in front of his face. "We will never be together."

"Never say never," they both said together. They looked at each other, smirking and they burst out laughing.

"Very funny," I glared at them.

"Admit it, it was hilarious," Hayden smirked at me.

"Sure," I rolled my eyes.

"I'm serious, Catherine," Tyler piped in. "I know that you made it pretty clear that you don't trust me, the other night, but give me a chance, please."

"Tyler, I don't think you are the type of guy that does relationships, really," I shook my head, knowing that I was getting myself into something too risky.

"Just, please, give me a chance," he pleaded me with puppy dog eyes.

"I don't even know you that well," I tried changing his mind again.

"You will get to know me. Go on a date with me. Just stop thinking through the 'stereotypes lens' and trust me. I know I have a bad reputation, but the challenge in life is looking past that. How am I even going to leave behind this reputation if someone doesn't give me a chance?"

"Oh so you're using me?"

"Geez, Catherine, no!"

"Go on a date with him or I will!" Hayden shouted, standing up. For some reason, he was holding his phone like he was recordin-

THAT LITTLE SHIT!

"Ew, no!" Tyler shook his head.

"Fine," I said smiling.

What did I have to lose anyway? It was just a date.

"Is that a yes?" Tyler asked smiling widely.

"Yeah," I said and he hugged me.

"I am so showing this to your kids," Hayden laughed, pressing something on his phone.

I just glared at him.

Half an hour later, it was time for Elsa to go home, so we all left.

Tyler didn't forget to give me his number, adding himself in my contacts as 'the idiot that asked me out'.

Well, at least he knows he is an idiot.

Walking towards the basketball court, to pick up my brothers, Hayden spoke up.

"You should give him a chance, you know... I know you are scared of getting hurt, but the way he looked at you... Man, it was such a hopeless look."

"I don't know, Hayden..."

"Look, you don't have to worry so much about the money anymore. And I'm here to help with everything, anyway. Take some time to yourself. Go out, have some fun. And if he hurts you, he won't be able to see the light of the sun again, trust me," he smiled at me.

"Thanks," I smiled back. "I'll try. For you."

"No. Try for you!"

I feel like this chapter was a bit... Bad. I started writing, but then I don't know what happened and I couldn't find the right words...
