If you asked me to describe school right now, I would say "Impending doom." I pull up to the school and park in the third row back. I can see Nicole's Lime green punch bug from here and I internally groan. Dont get me wrong, I love punch bugs but I pretty much hate Nicole. She was my friend until Middle school. She dropped me and Haley for the most popular crowd and climbed and clawed her way to the top with her fake sparkly nails.

People try and give me attention because Im the alphas daughter but I just brush them off. The eventually wander around till they find Nicole's group. The guys swoon over her and the girls want to be like her. Its just how it is for the majority of the school. The freshman really get sucked in. Most of my fellow Juniors have learned to stay away from her. You would think she was a cat, not a wolf.

I walk to my locker and turn the dial until it pops open.

"Penelope?"

Jasper's voice rings clear in my head.

"Hmm?"

"Turn around baby girl."

And so I did. Standing across the hall from me in a tight navy blue shirt and denim jeans is Jasper. In my head I run and jump into his arms and kiss him. In reality I send him a small smile and push back my feeling of longing to be next to him. He returns the smile but I see strain in his eyes.

"We need to talk."

I tell him. He nods and looks towards the janitors closet. I walk swiftly over and step in, watching to make sure no one saw. Jasper follows and closes the door behind us.

"Jasper-"

My sound voice is muffled by his lips and I wrap my hands around his neck. Our lips moving together until he pulls away. I sigh and try and remember what I was going to say.

"You were upset this morning what happened?"

"Philip..... he found out, Well so did Katelyn but thats besides the point, Philip found out and he is forcing me to tell my parents.... about you."

"Whats so bad about that again?"

He grips my waist and Pulls me closer to him. I put my hand on his chest to keep him from kissing me or the other way around.

"They could get rid of you.... or me. I cant watch us get torn apart."

"I was an alpha you know.... I can talk to your brother."

"But that might make him angry... I dont want you guys to fight and hurt each other."

"I cant guarantee that wont happen Baby girl."

" Ill just..... run. Not now. I usually would, but I cant leave you here. If problems arise and they try and hurt you then we run. If they try and send me away, we run. No questions asked. Being rogue isnt that hard.... right?"

" No I cant make you leave you pack. I refuse to ruin the relationship you have with your family Penelope."

"Your my family. My mate is my everything."

"Your going all sappy on me Lo."

"Be ready to leave if we need to. Tonight."
