Beginning (16)

Penelope P.O.V.

I wake up in Jaspers arms. His hand traces my lips and they curl into a smile at his touch. I wonder what woke me up before my alarm?

"Morning baby girl."

"mmm morning Babe."

Yells erupt from down stairs. That nust be it. But the yells were not of fear, but if anger.

"You cant do that!!! She is our daughter!"

"He is pulling in now, There nothing you can do about it!"

"PLEASE dont do this to our family!"

My parents. I sit up in bed and so does Jasper. I untangle my legs from the blankets and run down stairs. They stand in the living room and my mom has tears streaming down her face. My father has anger written across his face.

"Whats going on?" I demand.

The door bursts open and in walks a man who radiates power. You know when its really hot outside and you can see that blurry hot air? It was like that around him but power instead of heat. Jasper stepped forward and stood in front of me protectively. The man, who I have realized is a powerful alpha, starts to walk to my father and shakes his hand.

"Where is she?"

"Over there. Give me a moment."

My father walks over to me and Jasper growls lowly.

"You have two choices Penelope.
The first is you break the bond between you and Jasper and leave with this nice man here willingly. The second is you leave with him and I have Jasper executed so he wont follow you."

I think my jaw hit the floor. I think any love any respect and love I had for my father disappeared in the moment. The only sounds in the room were Jaspers low growls and moms uncontrollable sobbing. How do I get out of this? I mean I expected something like this to happen so why am I shocked? I guess because I have never felt betrayed by family. In order to break our bond I have to reject Jasper. I dont have the strength to do that. I love him and leaving would break both of us. I also cant let him be killed. Do we run for the hills like we planned?

What I am expecting least is what happens.

"No. She isnt going anywhere." His alpha tone is revealed slightly and I can see the surprise in the power alphas face.

"I thought you said she was mated to an omega?"

"She is. I mean.... he is an omega. She is mated to him. Not for long though. Penelope hurry up and make your choice."

Jasper releases my hand and turns to me kissing me harshly on the lips.

"I love you." He whispers in my ear.

He turns to my father and the other alpha and lets out a fierce growl before shifting and leaping into the air at them.

This might be a bit gory but read on if you want. If not I will notify you when its over!

Shock. It floods my features. Its floods the alpha's, my fathers, and mothers features. The power alphas guard move forward and Jasper tears them to pieces. Blood covers the rug in my living room. Screams erupt from my mom as the other two alphas in the room shift and circle Jasper.

My body starts to shake. I feel my wolf pushing to the surface and I let my more dangerous side take control. I shift into my wolf and lounge at my father. Pinning him beneath me, I bite down on his side. I could have easily snapped him neck but he doesnt deserve it. I see Jasper rolling around on the floor with the other alpha, snarling viciously at eachother. I am about to enter the fight when I feel a sharp pain in my shoulder. I turn and see the other alphas jaws clamped around my mate.

Ok you can read now.

I jump in blindly knocking them away from each other and standing over Jasper protectively. The other alpha growled at me but backed away, obviously deciding hurting me wasnt a good idea. He left the house and disappeared into the woods. My mom had thrown herself over my fathers limp, but breathing wolf body and pressed her hands to his wound. I nudge Jasper with my nose and he tries standing. He falls back down. He is losing blood fast.

The pack doctor rushes in and goes to my father. He ushers for some guards to take him to the infirmary before coming to Jasper. He examines his wound and I wine slightly when he touches it, feeling Jaspers pain.

More guards come and carry him away. My mom kneels on the blood covered ground staring blankly.

"Im sorry that happened. Ill call some omegas to clean this up."

She leaves the room and I run upstairs to my room, shifting quickly and putting on clothes. I hurry off to the infirmary to stay with Jasper. Werewolf healing cant only work so fast and he lost a lot of blood. I hold his hand and let my thoughts wander. I settle on one thing. This is just the beginning of.... whatever this is.

Boom! What do you think? It wasnt THAT gory just you know.... there was blood.
