Philip P.O.V.
I hate doing this to her. Penelope will never forgive me for making her tell out parents, but as future alpha, its my job to report to the current alpha, its better for her if she tells him though. Does she really think they would send one of them away. I have always loved my parents and they love us. Sometimes I see it though. Dad leans towards me as his favorite. Mom doesnt believe in showing her favorite so I dont know that she has one.

Penelope will be fine. Her mate will be fine. Dad and mom would never tear mates apart right? The bond is too strong, they should know that, they are mates. Im going to tell them me and Haley are mates too. I guess its better two rip two bandaids off at once than at different times.

"Kids! Dinner is ready! Come downstairs please!" mom calls from the kitchen.

Im silently praying that everything goes okay tonight. But I guess Im about to find out.

Penelope P.O.V.
I hold Jaspers hand tightly, likes its my lifeline, as we walk down stairs. We reach the door to the dining room and he plants a reassuring kiss on my cheek. He opens the door for me and we walk into the room.

Dad is up and hugging a laughing Philip and Haley. Mom claps her hands next to him. Obviously they just learned they are mates.

Dad releases them and turns to me. His eyes flood with realization when he looks at me and Jasper's intertwined hands. My cheers and runs over, wrapping me in a tight hug.

"Three of my babies all at once. Who knew Haley and Philip would end up mates and then my youngest baby would find her mate? Penelope who is this?" She releases me and looks at Jasper. He is smiling at her and offers her a hand shake but she just hugs him.

"Mom, this is Jasper."

"Nice to meet you Jasper. You can call me mom." She flashes him a bright smile.

I glance at dad who is staring from me, to Jasper, to mom, with an unreadable expression. I watch him for a moment before turning back to Jasper talking to my excited mother. Philip and Haley join us and I cant help but be glad that me and Philips problems arent keeping her and her mate.

By the time we actually sit down for dinner, the food is barely warm. We eat it anyways and by the end of the night everyone is off the subject of mates and the boys are talking about
football while us girls are making fun of them for it. Whats the big deal with it anyways?

After a while we all slip ways and me and Jasper decide to go to the river for a quick swim.

He leads me into the water and wraps his arms around my waist as it gets too deep for me to reach the bottom. He places a kiss on my forehead, nose, cheek, and finally my lips. I lean into the kiss and out lips move in sync. I feel worry flood my senses and I pull back.

"Whats wrong Jasper?"

"I just..... something isnt right."

"What do you mean? Did I do something wrong?"

"No baby girl. Its not you. Its your dad. I know the look alphas get when they are thinking...... planning. He was too quiet dont you think?"

"I didnt think about it till now but ya."

"I dont know whats going on in his head but Im worried its going to hurt you."

"I..... as long as Im with you Ill be fine."

He holds me closer and its a comfortable silence. I burry my head in his neck and breath in his scent. We stay like this for a long while before we head back to the house. I go into my bathroom and change into PJs. I come back out and snuggle into my bed. Jasper walks up and kisses me quickly on my lips and goes to leave. He reaches for the handle and I let out an involuntary whimper. He turns back to me and Im lost in his grey eyes.

"Dont go?" I whisper.

He nods and climbs in bed next to me. I am brought close to his chest and his arms go around me. I fall asleep in his warm embrace, breathing in his scent and trying not to wonder what is going on with my dad.

My eyes close and sleep takes me away.
