~Vaughn's POV~
'Come on Mr. Green. It's late. Enough of it.' a concerned Tessie were convincing me. I lifted my head and caught the room where I've been.
A club? Oh right.
My brows furrowed as I drank my glass that gone empty again. 'Hey. Another one.' I raised my glass to the barman. Tessie held my arm looking concerned. 'This is the last one Tess.' I told her. She watched me swallowed the last drop from the cup.
We made our way out of the club to her relief. She talked to my chauffeur and found myself sitting inside my limo.
'This isn't you Vaughn.' Tessie started. I winced at her sentence calling me by my first name. I know she's deadly serious this time.
'Is it her?' I chose to be silent. 'Give me your phone.' she commanded. Surprisingly, I gave it to her. My secretary is the only one who knew my phone code just in case of emergency. This kind of emergency. She didn't call. She just tapped at it a few times.
We've reached my pad and before I touched the knob, someone opened my door.
'Uhhh.. he stinks!'
'He's all yours.' Tessie blurted rolling her eyes.
'Thanks Tessie for this. Your sweet.' the woman flashed a wide smile at her then glared at me after. Once we're inside, she pushed me recklessly to the long couch. 'What we're you thinking?!'
'What? I just drank a few shots.'
'Are you kidding?' she didn't throw something but instead mildly hit me at the back of my head with her hand.
'What are you doing Les?!' shouting at her. She didn't flinch. 'Why are you here?'
'WHY AM I HERE? Well, maybe because my guardian needs guidance!' she shot back.
My head's splitting into two. I can't deal with this brat right now. 'Whatever.' I walked to my room.
'We're going to talk this out tomorrow morning.' she said gravely.

I opened my eyes. A dream I thought. I moved my head towards the table beside my bed and read 6 AM on the alarm clock. I made my way to my kitchen and found my cousin eating my cereals and facing her laptop with a flirtatious look.
'Uh come on!' I said in disgust. She glared at me and bid goodbye to her lover boy then close her computer. 'What are you doing here?'
'We need to talk about what happened last night Vaughn.' she reminds me. I'm digging my own bowl of cereals choosing to say nothing.
That was not a dream. What happened was real.
She let out a big sigh.
'If you're not gonna spill, just promise me and Tessie that you won't do that kind of thing again.' Leslie's looking disappointed.
'Sure.' I shortly replied.
'Vaughn, I don't want you to go back to what you're used to be.' she whispered sincerely. I brushed my hands to my face in frustration. My cousin patted my back. 'Sorry I didn't mean to...'
'It's alright. I'm sorry Les for being irresponsible.' I sighed as I prevent myself from thinking about the past.
'Don't worry. I suggest you take the day off. I'm gonna call Tessie.' trying to pursuade me.
'No. I can't do that. I have a lot of things to do. You know that.'
'Really? Didn't you employed the best ones in the city?' she looked at me dubiously. When I didn't answer, 'There's something else, am I right?'
'I..I need to see her.' Her fishy eyes shifted to a sympathizing one.
'Her. I see.' She licked her bottom lip thinking deep. 'Did she broke up with you?'
'No. I mean. We don't have... We're not...' she raised her hands.
'Okay. I understand. Cuz, seriously. You needed a time off. She's causing you a coaster of emotions. I know that you liked her but this is too far.' she said frankly.
'First. I still like her. Second, you're right. She affects me a lot and I don't know what to do with it anymore.' I said candidly. Leslie hugged me with full of emotion.
'Does she makes you happy?' she asked eventually. I nodded at her not mentioning at the same time that same happiness cause me to hurt which I know she's aware of.
'That's all you need Vaughn. Fight for her.' she said smiling.

~Heart's POV~
'Honey, everything will be alright.' My best buddy assured me while hugging.
'I hope.' I sighed. I told her everything that happened between Vaughn and me. Fortunately, it's weekend. No work. No Vaughn.
'Hey, thinking too much is not good for you.' she told me.
'Okay Doc.' I smiled at her. At least I try.
She shook her head and changed the topic. 'Now, let's go shopping!
'Can't wait.' I said in a fake thrilling voice.

Author: Way to go Leslie! I know this is a sad chapter. A lot to think about. I can't help it. Vaughn can't help it. I need to voice out for him. (affected much?)
