Chapter Twenty One - Magnet
Author: This is it guys. The thing that we've been waiting for.
~Saviour's POV~
FLASHBACK.
I saw a young lady dancing at the center floor. The make up that she's wearing is rather over applied but I'm sure without it, she'll still be beautiful. The move of her body is rhythmically tuned in with the music. One of her friends seemed to uttered something interesting as the girl took a glance at the bar counter. I felt my body stiffened as I've seen her looking at the man who sits at the middle of it. I observed them talking to each other after she approached the guy. I should be in his place instead.
Several minutes have passed. I noticed the girl got easily drunk after consuming few shots. The douchebag begun to hold her at the waist and assisted her to walk towards a room upstairs. 'Did she approve this?' I whispered talking to myself as I took a glimpse on the predator facade the guy has been showing. I climbed half of the staircase to follow them.
'If she knows what she's doing, I shouldn't be here.' I convinced myself. As I start to make my way down the stairs, I heard a faint shout. I stopped, went up again and listened very carefully despite of the heavy music. 'HEEELLLPP!' someone cried from the inside. 'Oh sh*t!' I dialed the emergency number and gave the relevant details to the operator as I broke the door with all my might and shoved the guy off her. I gave him a sharp thrust right to his douche face.
I consoled her shaking frame not giving any details about me thinking it's not that important. She needs to rest and avoid thinking too much. The police has arrived at the bar and I swiftly leave her before they get to the room.
'Maybe some other day.' I muttered. She's kinda young yet has a voluptous beauty defining her. 'I'm gonna find her next time and savour her feminine face matched with that long black silky hair.'

~Heart's POV~
I absolutely am impressed with Vaughn's skill. I never thought Vaughn knew how to cook.
Erase.
I should not praise him this time. He ignored me for a week.
After turning, I composed myself and gave him my coldest look if there's such a thing.
Katy chipped in. 'That looks so delish mister! Thanks!' she stated getting the plates from Vaughn's hands and started digging in.
'Thank you Vaughn for the breakfast. If you'll excuse me, I have other things to do.' Katy said after eating and giving me a quick glance. She made her way out of the kitchen and into her room.
'So, what brought you here Mr. Green?' I asked with formality as I started washing the dirties on the sink. He followed me and stood at the counter behind me. I felt his gaze upon me.
I moved my head towards his direction and saw him simpered. 'Distracted?'
I rolled my eyes and turned my focus on cleaning. 'Of course not.'
'Are you sure, love?' he whispered to my ear. He was so close to me. Dangerously close. I felt my frame shiver. I shook my head fighting the magnet that's pulling me towards him. He put his hand at the lower part of my back which sends a thrilling sensation to my whole body. Crap!
'Are you upset with me?' he asked softly looking at me and giving us space. I switched off the faucet, dried off my hands and met his stare. 'No.' I answered. Vaughn held my elbow and guide me closer to his body until there's no space between us again.
'I'm sorry Heart. I should have called and not leave you hanging.' he confessed. My heart sank.
'It's okay Mr. Green. I'm very sorry too for the way I acted.' I also owned up.
'Hey, enough of the formalities.' he uttered smiling. He coiled his arms around my waist. We looked at each other for a long time. His brown eyes captured mine. Only the rhythmic beating of our chests can be heard.
Dingdong. Dingdong. Dingdong.
