Candy Red Scarf

Something knocked on the door, the sound bounced off the walls of hanjies wooden  cabin , it was about  midnight and the fire had been reduced to glowing coals, I was awake the whole time, watching the deathly  shadows being cast by the fire.
I heard it again , another knock on the door.
I walked up to the door and looked through the key hole , it didn't look like anyone was there , it was so dark outside that the shadows would just blend into the rest of the scenery.
I went back to the couch , another knock on the door ,this time it sounded Louder.
I went to the door again and looked out the window ...
There seemed to be someone there, they wore a black hood and I couldn't see their face from this side.
They knocked again this time more violently losing patience.

My heart dropped , if that was Levi he - he would definitely do something unthinkable  to me for running away...
I slipped away to hanjies  room.
She was  fast asleep.

I tapped her shoulder,  she groaned in irratation  and turned on her side.
I tapped her again , no response. ..
I lost all patience and shook her violently.

"Hanji, wake up!"
I scream whispered.

"Mmmm. ..what's wrong."
She said her voice filled with sleep.

"There's someone at the door , and I think it's.. Levi. ..."
I said choking at his name.

"Huh...fine I'll go look"

She got up and started walking toward the door , I hid behind the couch just incase it was Levi.

As she opened the door her tone changed almost immediately to a more happy one.

She greeted the person at the door, "they"spoke back but I couldn't hear what they were saying , and that voice...I couldn't recondnise it either.

Didn't sound like someone I knew, Hanji  invited the person inside , I still couldn't see their face , until they took the hood off, it was a young woman with jet black hair and a straight expression chiseled onto her face and she wore a candy red scarf. She looked my way and caught me staring , she walked over to me without breaking the stare.
Before I knew it she stood towering over me with an intimidating stance.

"Rebecca?"
She said showing the slightest emotion.

I remaied silent.

She crouched down to my eye level, and looked me up and down scanning me with her dark eyes.

She grinned and took me by the hand and pulled me back up.

"Rebecca it is you?"
She said.

"Yeah she's been living with Levi for a while now."
Hanji  said as she sat on the couch beside me.

"With Levi. ..."
The woman said very confused.

"Oh ja just reintroduce yourself to her she seems to be suffering from amnesia."
Hanji  added.

"Micasa."
She said with a half hearted smile.

I rehearsed her name in my head a few times and then gathered the courage to say something.
"M-micasa, how do u know me..."

She blinked in thought and her expression changed, she looked at me with sorrowful eyes and said.
"Iv known you for a long time Rebecca , you may not remember me but I was Erens "sister"...(adopted sister)
You know who Eren is ? Oh gosh tell me you still remember."

"Yes yes, I kind of remember him..."

"Good cuz I know he would never forget you ."
She said as a tear escaped her eye.

"Who wants Tea ? "
Hanji  yelled from the other side of the room.

Micasa put her hand up in the air to signify she wanted some.
"You know how I like my tea Hanji."
She said as she shamefully  wiped the tear from her eye.

"Yeah , strong ,dark ...and handsome."
Hanji laughed at her own joke.

Micasa ignored it and carried on with what she was saying.

"So how's it staying with that little dip shit of a freak."
Micasa said referring to Levi all so boldly.

"Umm well he's fine."
I gave a weak smile.

"He's not treating you right?"

"Huh, no ,he's fine he's all fine!"
I said

"Then why are you so stressed out and why did you run away from him then?"

"I-i was bored at his place , I came here ...to um see Hanji."

"Well there's no use trying to get it out of you, iv known you since we were kids and you were never the one to give this away easily...but I'm warning you Levi isn't what he says he is , he's a lying cheating -..."

"Stop yes yes I get it!"
I blindly interrupted trying to defend  Levi.

"Well I'm sure you didn't  get how much that green eyed boy loved you..."
Her voice began to break and tears started to gather  in her eyes threatening to fall.

" do you know , huh , do you know Rebecca , where's my Eren? Where's he gone to ? Why hasn't he come back home , what happened to him!"
She burst into tears and she grabbed my shirt collar and shook me wildly.

"Micasa calm down!"
Hanji  ran into the room trying to pull Micasa away from me.

Micasa let go of me and fell back as she locked  Hanji in a tight embrace as she cried into her chest.
Hanji looked at me with a very concerned  look.

"Sorry Rebecca she's still a bit emotional when it comes to Eren."

"Sorry."
I whispered  to myself.

I was getting  increasingly worried about what had happened during that gap in my memory, it haunted me the thoughts of what could have happened in that time , but no matter how hard I tied I couldn't recollect those memories unless I dreamed  about them...
And really who was Levi. .. the man I love or something else.

Chapter 12 finished , took me longer than usial to type this one , I decided to take a break from writing 😂 but I'm sure to update.
Sorry about this chapter being so emotional,  I mean damn micasa (emotional train wreck )well I'm sure she would act like that if Eren really  did die or she would become like a rock...
Oh and sorry for the dry joke that hanji  said ,I know it's not that funny but just deal with it pls.
But whateva  .
