Jaito's POV

"Um..."

I wake up startled. I look to see that it's only three in the morning, and I wonder who could ever-

Oh.

"Sura," I sit up to see my younger sister. She sits on the edge of my bed, her light blue skin glowing in the darkness of the room.

My adopted sister is fifteen, but seems way younger because of her personality.

But she's an alien. A keronian. My friends... even they don't know about her, because she doesn't want them to.

She's scared; she accidentally walked in on me watching Men in Black once when she was ten, and ever since she has been horrified of what lies beyond our house.

I look to see that her large pink eyes are welling up with tears. "I had a dream..." she choked. "That... That they found me." She lunged towards me sobbing.

"Anything else?" I said softly hugging her back.

"Y-Your friends fought for me, and so did you."-she smiled briefly-"but... they found out your secret. And when They got me, They got the others, even you! And the whole time Luna was crying and Carmi had her leg..." she swallowed and roughly continued. "And Osaku was gone."

I was shocked. Osaku was the mother of our group, the oldest. I had often told Surara stories about my friends and brought her pictures, but she completely recognized everyone in her dream. She even noted the absence of Osaku.

I myself was getting nervous. And the secret...

"What about Darian?" I couldn't help it. He was always flirting with Luna, and he knew it bothered me.

She looked me straight in the eyes, and had a grim look on her face.

"He... DIED?!" I gasped.

"W...Worse..."

Surara rubbed her hand on my bare back.

"You were having a nightmare." she sighed. "You always have good dreams when your wings are open." She motioned me to spread my white angel wings.

My secret wings.

My if-my-friends-found-out-I'd-be-dead wings.

I reluctantly let them unfurl, and she smiled and cuddled against the feathers.

"I love you Jaito," she smiled.

"I love you too, sis."

??? POV

"What the he- ohhhhhh thats AMAZING!!!" I squealed. I'm a human!!

"Put some clothes on Molly!"

"I told you its TIA!!" I hissed, rubbing my hor-

"Where's my precious horn?" I yelled. "And my wings!"

I felt something soft hit my back. A blanket?

"I bought those clothes especially for you. Go out whenever you're ready."

Then they left.

The clothes felt weird...but I liked them! Even though I'm too beauuuuutiful for them!

Now I'm ready to go out in the sunlight!
