Few weeks later.

Brandon

"How's the song coming?" Alex asked sitting on the chair next to me.

I put my phone down, "aight"

She looked at me and smiled, "how much do you have?"

"The hook and two versus"

She nodded, "can I read?"

I looked at my phone, then back at her and gave her the phone.

As she read it she nodded, "okay okay I like it" she said giving me back my phone.

"I gotta send it to Gia see what she think"

I saw her get a lil serious, "y'all seen real happy together"

I nodded, "yea"

"So she has to know everything you doing every second of the day?"

"Yea same with her"

"I don't know she just comes off as she has to have control of everything, don't get me wrong she's cool. That's jus my opinion"

I shrugged.

"It seems like she's your manager almost" she said.

"Hey baby" I saw Gia come thru the door.

Alex turned around in the chair and stood up.

"Oh hey I didn't know you were in here"

"Yea I had to come see how the song was coming" Alex stood to the side.

Gia smiled, "Lorin's not back yet?"

Alex shook her head, "no she's taking care of Layla cus she's sick"

"Aaahh I see, baby you good?"

I nodded, "I was bout to send you the lyrics to the song"

"I read them and they are dope as hell" Alex chimed in.

"Really?! That's great" Gia said sarcastically.

"You gonna record now?" She asked.

"Nah I'm hungry"

"Perfect let's go out for lunch" she said grabbing my arm.

"Alex, we'll see you later" she said waving.

She grabbed me by my hand and we both walked out the studio.

I decided to drive so we drove to the nearest restaurant in buckhead.

"Table for two?" The waiter asked.

I nodded and we both walked to a booth near the back.

"Your waiter will be with you shortly" he said.

As we waited for the waiter my phone started vibrating outta control.

"Is that your phone?" Gia looked up from her's.

I went in my pocket and took it out.

Alexia: wya?
Alexia: y'all done?
Alexia: you gotta get back to work.
Alexia: hello?!
Alexia: I'm not tryna sound thirsty but you need to come back to the studio...
Alexia: ....We have things to discuss
