"What you mean she don't live there no more?" I said pacing back and forth.

"She left Atlanta and moved to Cali. I only know where she lives. She didn't even tell Herb" Misha said shaking the bottle full of formula.

I shook my head, "why did she call me then!?"

She shrugged, "I guess she didn't want to bother you while you were working"

I rolled my eyes," that's bullshit ima need for you to call her right now with some excuse and then pass me the phone"

She sighed, gave Sav the bottle and then picked up her phone. She made a few clicks and then put the phone towards her ear.

Seconds later she put the phone down.

"It's going to voicemail" she said looking at me with a blank expression.

I rolled my eyes again, "you know where she lives right?"

I saw her eyes widen," oooh no!" She said shaking her head, "you ain't finna drag me in no type of shit like them old times Ke, not me" she shook her head.

"DeShawn!!!!"I screamed walking thru the house.

"What girl" she said picking baby Mia up.

"Misha  and I have some business to handle OT. Can you watch the kids for a couple of days."

"Nawl You tweakin G"

"Pleaseeeee I'll tell Herb and the rest of them to come help you" I said putting my praying hands up.

He looked at me and at Misha, "don't get wifey in no type of trouble Ku"

I kissed my teeth," Shawn you know me better than that"

After booking our flights and getting our luggage ready we were all set to fly out the next morning.

"This feels hella good" I said looking at Rich rub my feet while eating a bowl of ice cream.

He mugged me, "uh-hu" he said.

I just winked and continued eating my ice cream.

"So why you switched your number?" He asked after a minute of silence.

I mugged him back, "why do you think?" I said looking down.

"They supposed to be your brothers. Why hide shit from them? Ion get it?"

I sighed thinking, "this nigga really dumb I don't know why I got involved with him in the first place"

"I'm not finna go over this with you anymore. You know damn well why" I said pulling my feet from him and getting up.

He didn't say anything back.

"I'm going to bed" I said kind of dropping the bowl in the sink making a bang noice and walking into my bedroom.

No, Rich and I didn't sleep in the same room nor the same bed.

We ain't there yet.

The next day.

"Okay Misha I'm ready!" I hollered from outside.

"Love you baby see you in a couple days" she said kissing Mia and Sav then walking outside.

I saw Shawn standing there with the two kids hand in hand looking jealous as hell.

I laughed, "why yo big baby ain't get no love" I teased.
