Herb
I sighed as I got out the SUV.
"Back in Chicago again" I thought as I grabbed my bags and headed into the small town house Ke and I had.
Her car was in the driveway and I knew I was gonna get it once I came inside so I mentally prepared myself.
I grabbed the keys out my pocket and opened the door.
The house was silent as I dropped my luggage by the stairs.
I didn't even bother calling her name because she wasn't gonna answer anyways.
I just quietly crept into the living room then the kitchen, no one in sight.
I looked out the window to the backyard and didn't see anyone.
Only place left was upstairs. I sighed once again walking upstairs.
I heard some shuffling as I turned the corner to our room.
I stood by the door just watching her.
She was folding laundry with her back towards me.
She looked fine as hell.
Had her long Brazilian 24in weave, that sat right on top of her ass.
She had on some dark grey leggings, fluffy socks and my Humble Beast t-shirt on.
"So you just gonna stand at the door looking like a fucking creep" She said pulling me out my thoughts.
I fluttered my eyes looking at her. She was now facing me with her arms crossed and a mean ass mug.
"my-my bad I aint wanna interrupt" I stuttered.
She sighed and rolled her eyes turning her back against me, continuing what she was doing.
"I need to talk to you" I said already knowing I had to address the elephant in the room.
"you made your choice Herb I don't wanna hear it no more" She said dryly.
I knew she was hurt and so was i. I ain't mean for shit to happen like this. I really didn't.
I sighed, walking around the bed so I could see her face.
"Look im sorry okay"
She mean mugged me, "Sorry?!! Fucking Sorry?!! You got me hella fucked up if you think ima take yo goofy ass back" she angrily threw my shirt against the wall.
"What you thought since Brandon cheated you could do that shit too? Boy fuck you" She raised her voice and walked out the room.
"Aye Ke im dead serious man. I only love one person-" I said walking behind her.
"Who? that bitch you knocked up?!" She screamed from the bottom of the stairs.
"YOU!" I screamed running down to catch up with them.
I caught up with her in the laundry room.
"Herb stop following me around dawg" She said.
"I need you to listen to me" I stood in front of the door not letting her get through.
She smacked her teeth.
"I don't care I ain't moving till you listen" I said glaring into her eyes.
She was stubborn and so was I.
She rolled her eyes and sat the load of clean laundry she had in her hand on top of the dryer.
