I walked down the street with a few of my friends, talking to each other. I had sparked a match to light my cigarette when my friend gasped.
"We're late!!!!" She said, realizing we were late to get home. We lived in a residential group home and had free roam until a curfew that we had set up. It was 7:00 and our curfew was 6:30.
"Lets just stay out for the night...!!" I said, taking a drag from my cigarette.
"You mean go AWOL!!" AWOL is short for absent-with-out-leave.
"Yeah!!! Come on... it'd be FUN!!!" I said enthusiastically.
"FINE!!!" she half grumbled but I knew she wanted to. We kept walking for a few hours when we stopped, hearing a beep. We looked back to see a brown pick-up truck with it's headlights on. My friends tapped me and said we'd better get going but I was frozen with shock.
"Y/N!! Come on!!!" My friend screamed and the guy came out of the truck and pulled out a gun. My friends screamed my name, but I was too afraid to move. He pulled the trigger and I heard my best friend scream and a thump right after.
"NO!!!!!" I yelled and ran towards the guy. He took my arm before I could swing at him and yanked me to the ground. I heard yelling but it stopped as the world went black.
