"You Disgust Me."

MADISON

"UGHH!" I huffed out in annoyance, I've been trying to write this paper for class for over an hour already and I can't think of anything to write. We're supposed to write about something tragic that's happened to us in our lives. I know what I want to write about, I just can't put it into words how much pain I was in.

"Mads?" Conner asked, coming into my study.

"Yes?" I asked, turning in my chair to face him.

"I have to go to work early, I got called in."

"What? Why?" I asked, looking at him.

"Someone called in sick and they couldn't find anyone else to cover for them." He replied.

"Oh. Alright, I love you." I kissed him on the lips.

"I love you, too." He walked out of my study, I turned back around in my chair as I heard the front door shut.

"Back to this paper." I sigh to myself, as I start to type.

"FINALLY!" I yelled as I finished my paper, I decided to write about my mom and how I lost her at such a young age.

I shut my computer screen and left my study, I went on a hunt to find Breyson even though I'm positive he's still in his room watching cartoons or playing with his toys.

I peeked my head in his door to see him sound asleep on the floor with his little butt sticking in the air. I couldn't help but chuckle as I took my phone out and snapped a picture.

I put my phone in my pocket and walked into his room and started picking up his toys, once that was done I picked him up and laid him on his little car bed and covered him up. I kissed his forehead and I left his room turning his light off and leaving the door cracked open so he doesn't get scared.

I walked into Conner and I's room, I got my night clothes and went to take a shower. Once I was done with my shower I dried myself off and got dressed. I walked out of the bathroom, out of Conner and I's room over to Breyson to make sure he was okay. He was still sleeping peacefully, Once I check on Breyson I went back to my room and laid down and drifted off to sleep.

I woke up to a noise coming from the kitchen, I looked over at the clock to see that it's 3AM. I got up out of bed and grabbed the closest thing to me, which just happened to be a hair brush. I walked out of the bedroom and down the stairs, I peeked around the corner into the kitchen. Conner was sitting at the table with his face in his hands, sighing I lowered the hair brush and walked in.
I put my hand on his shoulder causing him to jump.
"Oh, hey Mads."Conner said once he realized it was me.
"Hey baby." I replied sitting down beside him.
"What's on your mind?" I asked looking at him.
Shrugging his shoulders, "I have to tell you something." He answered.
I nodded my head telling him to continue, he took a deep breathe and sighed.
"I've been cheating on you." I froze, it felt like my whole world has came tumbling down on top of me. I looked at him tears starting to form in my eyes, I shook my head and stood up.
"Mads, please let me explain." He begged, I turned around to look at him as tears started to rolled down my face.
"Why? Why after all these years, after all that we've been through together? Why now!?" I screamed at him, he lowered his head and shrugged. I shook my head in disgust.
"You disgust me." I growled, I turned on my heels and walked back up the stairs, I walked into our bedroom and grabbed my things and took them to the spare bedroom we had. Once all my things were in the room I laid on the bed wondering what I did so wrong to make him cheat.
Did I not love him enough? Maybe I loved him too much? I don't even know, I just want to know where it all went wrong.
It seems like I've been laying her for hours crying and thinking but it's only actually been 20 minutes, a knock at the door broke me from my thoughts.
"Mads, please open the door and let me explain." Conner pleaded, I just sat still on the bed. "Please baby." He pleaded again, he kept going for about 10 minutes before he noticed that I wasn't going to open he door.
"I'm sorry Madison, okay. I love you.." With a sigh he left, and for the first time in forever, I cried myself to sleep wondering why I wasn't good enough.
