Birthday

It's my birthday today! And also a year tomorrow since me and Ian met, I woke up to an empty bed until Ian and Paul burst through the door with lots of gifts and a cake, I laughed as they both started to sing happy birthday. I blew out the candles and thanked them as I opened my gifts.

I opened Pauls first which was a big personalised photo album, on the cover it said "bestfriends saskia and Paul throughout the years&forever" inside was hundreds of photos of me and him from when we were little to how we are now along with matching Cartier friendship bracelets, I felt a tear form in my eye at how cute it was. I jumped on Paul giving him a tight hug, "thankyou Pauly" I grinned. "29 years together and still going strong" Paul smirked.

Next was Ian and there was a big box, I smiled opening it up revealing an excited pug puppy, I screamed cuddling the pup and jumped on Ian placing a kiss on his lips thanking him, "it's a boy by the way, what you gonna call it?" Ian questioned. "I thinkkkkkk I'm gonna call it stefan" I winked at Paul. "Oh em gee sassy pants I love it" Paul laughed as Ian nodded agreeing.
"Oh and there's one more thing" Ian handed me a small long box, he opened it and inside was a gold necklace in the shape of a heart which said "my princess" my smile grew from cheek to cheek as it was also a locket and inside was a picture of me and Ian, the smile never left my face and I couldn't thank him enough, Ian smirked putting the necklace around my neck. "Anything for my princess" he smiled.

I opened cards and gifts in the mail from my family. I didn't want a big party so Ian just invited paul who was already here, candice, Kat, Daniel, Zach and Matt to have a chilled night in watching films and to order food. They all arrived hugging me wishing me happy birthday handing me cards and gifts, I thanked them and introduced my new puppy stefan and we all snuggled together on Ians big sofa putting a movie on, we laughed and talked all night.

It got to midnight and it was now our 1 year anniversary, I got Ian a card and a nice Rolex I saved for from doing my modelling, I knew he really wanted it so I got it before he buys it!
I handed him my gift and kissed him, "happy 1 year" I smiled as he thanked me opening the small box up. His face made an O shape as he pulled me into a firm hug, "you didn't have to do that" Ian smiled raising an eyebrow. "I know but I wanted to treat you and show you how much you mean to me" I softly sighed.

Ian stood up, now it's time for my gift he grinned.

"Ian no you've got me enough!"I softly shouted.
"No just listen to me, don't talk just listen" he winked as I nodded. The other guys watched, "ou This is gonna be cheesy I know it!" Daniel laughed as Ian through popcorn at him to shut up.

"Saskia Reid where do I start? I knew from the moment Paul introduced you to me that I would grow to adore you, not only by your beautiful looks and figure, but your funny, whitty and sarcastic sense of humour. You've made me realise that I am and will always be in love with you, in fact I love you more and more everyday if that's even possible. I know a year doesn't even feel that long but it's been the best year of my life because I got to spend it with you." Ian looked at the others and then back at me "yes this is cheesy and I know your laughing Daniel and Paul but I don't care" Ian smirked. "Anyway I just wanted to know something..."

Ian reached into his pocket pulling out a small black box, he opened it revealing a big diamond ring. He got down on one knee and my eyes started to water as I threw my hands over my mouth,and I could see candice and Kats eyes getting watery to, even the boys were but they were trying to hide it.

"Saskia Reid will you do me the honours of being my wife?" Ian said nervously waiting for a reply.

"Yes yes yes of course I will, I love you Ian somerhalder!" I cried with joy as everyone cheered and clapped. Ian slipped the ring on my finger and gave me a soft but passionate kiss. "You're soon going to be Mrs somerhalder" Ian shouted looking into my eyes.
