Weeks passed by so quickly, I'm now 12 weeks pregnant. It was time for my first baby scan. I was super excited! My appointment was at 9am, Ian shuffled in with some fresh orange and toast then sitting down beside me. He placed his hands on my small bump then placing a soft kiss on it. "Hey little one, your mummy and daddy are going to see you for the first time today" Ian said in a cooey voice. I smiled just watching him be so caring, I slipped into some leggings and a baggy top and Ian and I got into his car to drive to see the precious little life growing inside me.
Moments later after arriving we got called into the midwifes room, I laid on the bed and lifted my tshirt up, Ian held my hand as the nurse started to rub the cold gel on my stomach in circular motions. The nurse smiled pointing to the screen, "there's your baby's heartbeat!" Ian and I were smiling from cheek to cheek. She wiped the gel off my bump and handed us a small picture of our precious little baby.
We headed out and Ian stopped pulling me into a warm hug placing a soft kiss on my lips. "What was that for" I giggled. "I'm just so happy, I have the girl of my dreams as my wife and we now have a beautiful healthy baby growing inside of you" Ian smiled locking our hands together as we walked back to the car.
"I don't want to go to workkkkkkk" Ian playfully cried. "It's your last day you have to! I'll come with you if you would like, we can show everyone our first scan!" I smiled holding onto ians thigh as he began to drive. "That would be Amazing" Ian pouted.
Once at set Ian helped me out of the car and placed his hand around my waist, we walked in to see everyone sat eating. We walked over joining them and I pulled out the picture of our baby. They all pouted passing it round smiling.
"Im so proud of you guys" Daniel said with everyone agreeing. Julie rushed over giving me a hug feeling my bump, "aw I'm so happy for you both, be sure to bring your beautiful little baba to meet me when he or she is born" Julie grinned before calling everyone to shoot their scenes.
