As I'm invested with texting Josh, I notice to see 2 skinny girls walking along the sides of the mall. Then I realize those skinny girls are my dance team. Vanessa and Jade. The most snobbiest girls you will ever meet. While Vanessa has been known for her lack of knowledge, Jade is actually clever and smart. But both know how to defeat their pray. I look up from my tiny screen and see them walking towards me.

"Hey Nora. Didn't expect to see you here. Your not the type to go clothes shopping. Judging on your outfit, Grunge much? So 2012." Jade laughs at her own insult.

"No actually I'm waiting for my best friend Laura. She went in Yankee candle."

"Hm. So are you going to the fair? Mrs. Devours having a contest and you have to work a booth and whoever raises the most money will get a chance to transfer to New York City Lucy's dance school for next leveled dancers."

"I actually don't know yet. I'm not entirely sure I want to leave my friends."

"Ugh boo you whore" Jade sips her Starbucks drink and says "let's go Vanessa."

They leave as quick as they came and I then see Laura running towards me.

"Was that Jade and Vanessa? What did they say to you?" I roll my eyes.

"They wanted to know if I was going to the fair for that competition Mrs. Devours having."

"Well arnt you gonna do it? I mean it's New York City Nora! Where the big leagues go! Didn't you want this for the longest time?"

I start to drift back into my childhood dreams. When I was little I would dream about going to New York and making it big. I was determined ever since. But now that the possibility was right in front of me, I wasn't sure I even thought it through.

"Yeah but I don't want leave you. You're the only friend I've ever had Laura."

"Nora you know I can't leave my college. I'm trying to get a degree in science"

Yup. You guessed it. Laura loved science. When we were in Highschool at the last minute at graduation, she decided she wanted to major in science. I wasn't that surprised judging on her grades the semester. She got a A+ in chemistry.

"Yeah well-" she cuts me off. "Look Nora. Don't think I'm dragging you down to go live your dream. You'll be fine without me. Plus maybe by then you'll be with Josh." I blush.

"Now how about I drive you home? I really want to get back and take off these heels. They are killing me!" I nod and laugh.

She drives me home and I rush into my apartment and plop on my couch. After a while I find myself drifting off into sleep.

I'm sorry guys this chapter is so short. I've been very busy. It's not like anyone reads my stuff based on my follower count. A big fat 0. :/
