Phil was on his way home to deal with his crazy drunk ex-girlfriend. He would probably have to fully explain to her that it was over, even if that meant he had to let his dirty little secret slip to her. Phil shuttered at the thought of telling someone. He wasn't ready to step out of his nice, warm, cozy closet where he has spent the last 18 years in the closet. Even in kindergarten Phil had liked boys more then girls. He liked to be around boys more, and through his whole childhood, he would always say, "Mommy, he's cute," or, "Mommy, I like him the most." Phil's grip on the steering wheel tightened at these thoughts. At these memories of who he really was. He taught himself to hide it ever since first grade when he soon learned that liking boy when you were a boy, well that just wasn't normal. He remembered the day he realized he was different. When he came home crying to his older brother, since both his mum and dad were out of their anniversary. Martyn had taken good care of Phil. He taught Phil that it was okay to be different, that normalness leads to sadness. So why did he feel so sad when he knew he was different."
Phil slammed on the breaks as to not run a red light, realizing he must have gotten lost in his thoughts. He just couldn't help it. Lately, for the past five months, he had been realizing that the world was changing, and it was about time he slipped his way out of his closet so he could admit to Dan how he felt. That was another problem he was facing. He really..., and he meant really liked Dan. Dan was his student, his best friend, his other half. The best part? Dan was openly bisexual. When he came out to Phil, Phil had wanted nothing more then to hug Dan and tell Dan that he was gay. But no, he just explained how accepting and proud he was. He couldn't bring himself to say the words. He couldn't bring himself to do it just yet.
Phil put the car in park and got out, looking up at the house he and Tyler rented. They were close when Phil had basically stalked him on YouTube. With a sigh, he looked at the door and saw a slumped over shadow beating on the door. He began to walk towards the shadow, and it became apparent just how drunk Anabeth was. She looked up to Phil and ran at him, trying to beat him up weakly while trying to cry into his chest at the same time. He felt no regret breaking up with her, just regret for leading her on. "You need to go home, no Anabeth. Do you want me to call your cab?" Phil said in a monotone voice, his eyes staring at her coldly.
"NO, I WA-nt Y-o-ou to tell meyou mishz me." Her drunken words tripping and running into themselves. Her body was basically draped on him. He pulled her phone out and rang her mother while she continued to slur works at him.
"Mrs. Rachelis (Rachel-ies), yes, your daughter is threatening me and my roommate. As well as being a disturbance. I don't have time to properly deal with this, so if you could come get her before my roommate or I call the authorities, I would highly appreciate that. Thank you, Philip Lester." He said into the phone, not waiting for her to respond. He moved Anabeth to his front porch and let her sit against the wall as he opened the door to see a shaking blanket ball with a knife sticking out of it. His pissed off mood drifted a little, and laughed at Tyler. At this sound, Tyler poked his head out, dropped the knife and ran to Phil, hugging him tightly. Phil hugged Tyler back. "You better now?" Phil asked, pulling away and walking out the front door, looking down to see a now sleeping Anabeth.
"Yes. I am better now, especially to see that demon woman asleep. And people wonder why I like guys, I don't know how you can stand women." Tyler commented, looking into bright headlights, seeing a middle aged man and women walking towards them. Phil nodded to Anabeth, and the two carried her to the car without a word. Both their heads were down, and they didn't dare look up. Phil looked powerful, Tyler noticed. His shoulders were back, and he stood tall and straight, his full stature of six-foot-two-inches obvious. He look intimidating, and his eyes were blue and icy in the light of the car's headlights. Tyler wondered what Phil was thinking about, but shoved it off as Phil pushed past Tyler as the car drove off.
