Madeline P.O.V

I wake up after falling asleep early. I pick up my class schedule. First class. Blah blah goodness. I put in my hat and head for the food.
"Loser." someone says before tripping me. Again a pair of arms catch me. I catch my hat before it come off my head. 
"Okay. We gotta stop meeting like this." Carlos says. I stand up. I blush a little. Which looks like a lot on my very pale skin.
"Sorry. I was headed to food. You can come with me if you want." I say.
"Sure. I mean that's where I was headed but I guess it was wrong." he blushes lightly. As we walk its silent.
"So...... what's up you and hate?" Carlos ask. Breaking the silence.
"Oh well. I don't know. I mean my dad loves hates. I just picked it up from him." I answer. He nods. Now the silence is awkward.
After tea
"Hey Mad. Your were already a oddball. But now you hang with the VK's. Pathetic even for you Mad." Audrey says. I just keep my hat held high. I walk into my class and sit in the very very back.
"Hey what are you doing here? You lost, because i just took tour I can show you." Evie says.
"No this is my class." she nods and go sits with her friends.

As class goes on I read the book I stole from my father. It should tell me something about the sword. Why wasn't it me? Am I only the protector? Who is it?

"Now as I said were sharing something special about ourselves. Since you care not to pay attention you can go first Madeline." FG voice cuts into my thoughts. I march to front of the class. 

Carlos P.O.V

Madeline marches to the front if the class to share her talent.
"Futterwagon." she says. I look at Mal with a raised eyebrow. She just shrugs.
"Would you mind doing the Futterwagon." FG says
"Normally its only done in Wonderland on I have no idea how to say it day. But sure." she answers she starts to move her feet. Than her arms and stuff. WOAH!! She just spun her head around. I clap. So does FG.

After class I ask around on why Madeline was in that goodness class.
"Of course you ask me. I'll answer you though. Im Aqua. Ariel's daughter."
"So what happened?"
"Well you see Madeline got here a week before you. On her second day she did something evil. I guess I was being the meanest to her. She sent me to Wonderland. That place is scary. They only got me out they day before you came. So she's bad news." Aqua walked off.

I sit with Mal Evie and Jay st lunch and tell them what I heard.
"You! Right there in the black and white." someone says to me. He walks up to me.
"I don't know who you think you are bit you need stop." the boy says to me.
"Excuse me. But who do think you are?" Mal. Says outraged.
"This is between me and him purple. Now your gonna stop." he says looking back at me.
"One who are you? Two what did I do?" I ask.
"Im White. Alice's daughter. Your the boy who's been asking around about Madeline's past." he yells at me.
"What's going on?" Madeline says. Popping out if no where.
"Nothing. Let's go Maddy."
"Of course its not nothing silly. You'll tell me the truth Carlos." she looks at me with pleading eyes. Her ice blue eyes are beautiful.
"Its nothing Maddy I promise." she blinks. Once. Twice. Three times.
"Fine but im on to you two." she said looking between me and White.
