Hey guys. I've been having some writers block.  Chapter ideas aren't coming so easily write now. Prepare for the feels

Madeline P.O.V

I leave my room for the first time in a week. I unlock the door slowly and walked out. Im wearing my normal outfit and a hat. As soon as I walk into class most people's eyes are on me.
"Nice to see you join is us again." Mr.Merlin greets.
"Good morning." I mumble back. I sit in my normal seat next to Evie. She passes me a note.
Are you okay?

Im perfectly fine. When lunch comes around I march straight over to Whites table. With my strawberry smoothie. I hate strawberry.
"Madeline?! Madeline im so sorry. I didn't mean to. I mean I did. I just" he starts but I cut him off. I poor that smoothie all over his head. Everyone's eyes are on us. I can already hear the whispers.

Who does she think she is
Weren't they just dating
I heard he cheated on her
Aren't they best friends

I leave the room. Leaving everyone flabbergasted.

Carlos P.O.V

Me and Jane were making out (gags) when I heard a bunch of gasp. I look and see Mad standing next to white with a empty smoothie cup. White covered in a smoothie. Everyone is whispering about them.
"What's her problem?" Jane scoffs.
"I don't know but imma find out." I say. I remove Jane from my lap and head toward Madeline's room. I knock on the door.
"Come in." I walk in and see Mad face down on her bed. I lift her up.
"He manipulated me Carlos. He made me think I was in love with him. Im not." she cries.
"Who are you in love with?" I ask. She looks up hesitantly.
"Im in love with you Carlos." she whispers. Forget it. I kiss her.

Madeline P.O.V

At first I close my eyes and kiss back. At first. Than I remember and push him off me.
"You have a girlfriend Carlos!" I yell at  him. He looks at me with guilt.
"Get the heck out my room. Get out!" I yell at him throwing The first thing I get my hands on. He leaves and closes the door. That's when I realize what the first thing I got my hand in was. My glass hat.

Flashback

"Now this hat is special." Mandy said that crazy 15 year old.
"I want it gimme gimme." five year old me said. He holds it up so I can't reach it.
"I want it." I say.
"When your older." he says. I pout. He lifts me up by my feet. I scream in excitement.
"Where are they?" we hear a familiar voice say. Mom.
"I want them dead and I want them dead now." she says. Mandy throws me over his shoulder and runs to the basement.
"Im scared Mandy." I tell him.
"I'll protect you. I'll be right back." he says going to leave the room leaving the room. I cling to his leg.
"Hold the for me Madeline. I wanna wear it when I come back. Keep it safe." I nod and take the hat. He leaves and I hear fighting. Than nothing. Someone barges into the basement door. I hope its my brother but its not. I hide behind a shelf holding the hat tightly.
"Can't find the little one. The older one is dead." the card says.

Flashback over

They put his soul into the  hat. They were gonna bury it with him but I wanted to keep a part of him with me. My brother. I lay on the floor crying. The door burst open revealing Evie, Jane, Lonnie, Ivy and   Mal. They all give me a hug. Well Mal gives me a awkward side hug.
"What's wrong? Why are you holding that  purple rock?" Ivy ask.
"I broke it. This is his soul." I explain the hat. I get hugged again.
"No more. You've been sad for a week. Tomorrow we go to a party." Mal declares. Everyone nods in agreement. I go to protest but get stopped. Tomorrow is gonna be a long day.
