Today imma do it. Imma ask her out. I got this. I see Carlos walk into his bedroom as Madeline walks by. Everything is going smooth.
"Hey Mad." I tease
"Dont call me that. You know I hate that. What did you need? I was about to go to sleep." she said.
"Wanna go out with me? Like now?" I ask.
"Sure give me a moment." she chirped walking into her room. I waited outside her door she came out in her usual outfit. I grabbed her hand. We went for a picnic. We talked about everything.
"Will you be my girlfriend Madeline?" I asked. She look confuzed.
"Wwhat" she stuttered.
"I bought you in this date so I could ask you. So will you?" I ask again.
"Im sorry White. I thought we were hanging out as friends. Your my best friend. I don't wanna change that." she says
"Why not?" I asked threw gritted teeth.
"Im not in love with you like that. Your my older brother. Im in love with someone. I don't know who. Its like my heart knows who. But my brain doesn't remember." she explains. Than I get an idea.
"It was me. A couple days before your accident I asked you out. You said yes. Please remember. We were a great couple." I lie
"We were?" she crinkles her nose.
"Please remember. We were together. Your were happy with me." I lie.
"Okay. I'll give it a shot. Only if we were together though." I nod as quickly as I can. This is gonna be great.
