Abbey’s POV:
I entered the school grounds, dreading school as always. Abbey has always been a straight A+ student but this never went in her favour.
I walked to my locker and opened it. All of a sudden custard busts out at me. Really, those jocks don’t have anything else better to do with their time. I wiped the custard from my face. I saw them all laughing at me. I yelled at them, “Don’t you have something else better to do with your time than to torment me?” The biggest and scariest of the jocks came over and towered over me and said, “Is little cry baby going to cry?” The jocks all laughed. I had had enough and ran off to the toilets so I could try to fix this custard.
All I ever wanted was a friend but I guess that will never happen… I have been a loner ever since I started at this school but the only thing that got me through those days was making my mum proud, but now… No self-conscious don’t even let yourself think about that, you just need to focus on getting rid of all of this custard.
Once I fixed the custard situation I went to class. Mrs Smith was angry that I was so late to class. She started to yell at me about manners. I felt tears but then she stopped and the tears went away, thankfully as I didn’t need to give those jocks another reason to tease me. I sat in my seat and took down notes carefully because my grades are everything to me and if anyone got in the way of my good grades then I think that would just about kill me.
I spent the rest of my day quietly taking notes at my favourite seat in every class, the front one right in front of the board. I loved the very front seat as I could see the board clearly and could actually focus on taking down notes instead of those jocks and cheerleaders that had made my life hell ever since I moved to this school.
After school was over I went straight home and into my room before even talking to my nanny. My dad doesn’t live in the same city as me anymore because it’s too depressing for him to. I still do though and I have a nanny otherwise dad would’ve forced me to move to Brisbane with him, but I love it here in Adelaide besides the people at this school.
I went to sleep after completing all of my homework. I was listening to Taylor Swift when my eyes decided to slowly shut and I was in a deep slumber.
