Weeks have passed after the competition and yet Taeyeon was still ashamed of herself. It may not be known to everyone that she was trying to surpass Baekhyun but she failed miserably. Talking or even meeting Baekhyun was hard for her. She would do her very best just to avoid Baekhyun. Before, during breaks she would be in the library but everytime she was there Baekhyun was also there as if the guy was following her.
"Why am I even here, I should be in a date with the books in the library but that guy was there. Taeyeon said to herself while sitting under a tree on the school green house. She was enjoying the trees but not as much as she enjoy the books but what else can she do, Baekhyun was again at the library.
I might as well rest. Taeyeon thought. She grabbed her phone and earbuds to listen to music. (Time Machine by SNSD) She rested her back against the tree and closed her eyes.

"You are the reason why she died, how could you do this? I treated you like my own daughter. Jessica, she is my one and only daughter but you killed her!" The middle aged woman shouted at Taeyeon, crying because of her daughter's death and she can only blame her.
"Im sorry mom, its not true, I didn't, please it was all an accident, please Sica wake up, Dont do this!" Taeyeon was crying her heart out while grieving on her bestfriends death.
"mom? you have no right to call me mom, you killed my daughter. You were her bestfriend, she even thought of you as her sister but look what you've done. This is all your fault Taeyeon.
"No mom please!" Teayeon woke up from her dream as tears flowing from her eyes. The dream, it felt so real that all the heartaches that day returned as if it only happened yesterday.
"I miss you Sica." Taeyeon quitely sob remembering her memories of her bestfriend. It was now 5years since she left this world. Taeyeon looked up to the sky.
"I hope you are okay there Sica, Im sorry for hurting you and your mom. I promise to have the courage and approach her to properly say sorry."

The school ends and everyone on Taeyeons' class wondered why her eyes are so puffy it seems like she was crying little did they know she did cried but the latter insisted she had slept in the garden with her arms over her eyes. Since it was Taeyeon, they just shrugged it off and believed her. But one particular guy is confused or concerned because he is quite sure she cried.
During class Baekhyun just randomly flipped his books while thinking about Taeyeon.
"Theres something wrong with her, Baekhyun told himself. He once again looked at Taeyeon which was 4 seats behind him and coincidentally Taeyeon looked at him and their eyes met. Taeyeon looked down immediately.
"Class dismissed." The teacher said and everyone cheered since it was their last subject of the day.
"Baek, we're going to Xiumin hyung's house to play, wanna come? Kyungsoo asked Baekhyun but the latter refused that he still has to go to the library.
"You're missing half of your life because you love to hang out in the library." Chanyeol said to the guy
"No giant, you're missing half of your brain that's why you think like that." Baekhyun retorted as their other friends laugh
"Just leave him be Chanyeol, Lets go guys." Chen said
While scanning the books on the shelves he spotted Taeyeon which was unexpected, before he purposely visit the library everyday to see her but after the quiz bowl competition he barely sees her there and thought it would be a good opportunity to approach her.
"Hi!" Taeyeon was startled to hear that voice, she was 100% sure who it belonged to and she dreaded those times that she has to speak with him.
"Oh hi Baekhyun-ssi, i mean Baekhyun-ah, is there anything you need?" She smiled at Baekhyun even though she really wants to leave.
"Nothing really, I'm just wandering around and i saw you. I'm sorry am I being a bother to you?
"Of course you're not." she smiled
"Are you going home after this Taeyeon-ah? He asked which gained a surprised look from the girl. She's blushing, Taeyeon-ah?
"Uhhm yes, I should head first. Bye.
"Wait Taeyeon-ah, can i-- can i walk with you?
"Uhhm yeah sure *no pleaseeee, i feel so small when I'm with you, you're a good guy
"Great! so shall we?
This wont be the last time we will walk home together. He promised
