Episode. Enjoy!

I was sitting at my desk, next to Marco's, and a familiar face walked through the door. Oh no. He walked up to me and took off his glasses.
"Hey Star." He said, continuously moving his eyebrows.
"Tom? What are you doing here?"
"I'm here to take you to the Blood Moon Ball!"
I looked at Marco. For some reason he looked angry.
"No. Nope. I am not going. Not after what happened back on Mewni."
The bell rang. I got out of my seat as fast as I could.
"Oh, Star," he said grabbing my shoulder to stop me, "It is going to be so much fun! Why not come with me?"
"Because you broke my heart. And you have very low control over your anger."
He picked me up and leaned in to kiss me. I was struggling to get free.
"Let her go!" A familiar voice yelled.
Tom and I looked up. It was Marco.
"And who are you?" Tom asked.
I set myself free from Tom's arms.
"His name is Marco." I replied.
"Oh, well you should let him know where you're going to be tonight." He tossed me a bell, then walked away.
"Who was that?" Marco asked, clearly frustrated.
"Tom. The jerk who hurt me last year."
"So you still don't have a boyfriend?"
"No. He was my first, and so far, my last."
"Ok." Now he sounded relieved. I thought that was really weird to me.
"I don't know Marco. Maybe I should go."
"No! You said he hurt you!"
"Not as his date, dummy! Just for fun."
"Maybe I should come." He added.
"Marco I can handle this."
We rode the bus home. Once I got to my room, Marco was trying to convince me not to go.
"Anything can happen, Star! He could put a spell on you or something!"
"Marco I'm going. Don't look, I'm changing."
Marco turned away as I changed into a pink dress.
"I don't know Star, he seems like a bad influence."
"Which is why I broke up with him." I lied.
"Wait... You said he broke your heart."
"He did, many times. So I turned into this rude, careless person because of him. Keeping my distance has helped. How do I look?"

 How do I look?"

"Wow. Amazing!"
"Thank you!"
"Don't go."
I rang the bell and my ride arrived.
"Bye Marco!"
I arrived at the party, which seemed super classical. Boring. Tom arrived in front of me.
"Hey beautiful!"
"Don't call me that." I walked past him.
"So there are photos over there, if you wanna take some."
I sighed. "Only this once."
We waited in the line.
"I can't wait to be covered in blood with you. Don't worry though. It's from a unicorn."
"Yeah I'm not doing this." I walked away.
"Gather around everyone. It is now time for the Blood Moon Dance! The moon's shadow will hover over two souls and they will bond together for eternity!" The goblin explained.
The music started and the Blood Moon was moving quickly.
Tom said something but I wasn't paying attention. I followed the moonlight's direction and all of the sudden a hand grabbed my waist and pulled me backwards. I turned around, and saw that Marco was right in front of me. The moonlight hovered over us, like a spotlight. The music began and we began dancing together.
"Marco? What are you doing?"
"I'm getting you out of here!"
"What? Marco! I can handle this myself!"
"He hurt you Star, you shouldn't be around him."
"Marco, I'm mature enough to avoid him."
"Star, I need to protect you from harm!"
"Since when were you my protector?"
"I don't know I just... Don't worry about that!"
The music ended. I looked at Tom. He looked furious. All of the sudden Tom walked over to me, grabbed me, and almost kissed me. I was doing my best to get free.
"Get off her!" Marco screamed. He pushed Tom off of me. Tom raged and punched Marco and Marco fell down. I took my wand and froze Tom. I'm done. I don't need this. I stormed off to my ride and Marco got up and followed. I didn't talk to him the whole way home. We arrived at my room. I stormed out.
"This is so... Infuriating!"
"I told you not to go."
"No! You! You're infuriating! You can't trust me! I don't need a stupid protector I'm mature enough to-"
Marco hugged me and said;
"Calm. Down. It's going to be ok."
I calmed my self down and let go of my emotions.
"I'm sorry. But on the bright side... Now I know you got some moves!"
We both laughed, but I saw something in Marco's eyes. Something... Different.
