"So, a soldier, huh?" Hayley was sitting on the bench in the park, she took a sip of a tea and watched sun rise. "Yes," Chris nodded and said, "so, an opera singer, huh?" "Not yet," she said and added, "and maybe never will be."

"Why would you say something like that? You overcame so many bad things, you are going to graduate next year, so where is the problem?" "It's not that I don't want to, it is about my competitors. Only in my class two other girls have a similar voice and they all are going to apply for a work on the same places. So, I must be a realist and accept the fact, that I might not get a job right after my graduation." "Well, never say never. You don't know, what life can bring you," Chris said and Hayley just sighed. "I guess I don't even care about the future, it's better not to think about it. I simply wait and adapt myself acording to the situation."

He watched her for a few seconds, her brown eyes staring to the east awaiting the sun, her hair casually bound with rubber band, her fingers dancing on her knees, playing imaginary song - even now in this very moment her life was enriched by music. "Alright," Chris stood up and grabbed her hand, "sing for me and I will tell you, what are your chances."

"No way," she laughed. "Why not?" "My voice is not warmed up and despite the fact I spent whole night with you, you are still a stranger and I don't do a private show for someone I barely know." "Just a one verse from your favourite aria, come on," he asked. Hayley stood on the bench, posed like an opera diva, let down her hair and... "No," she simply said and they both began to laugh.

"I should go home," she jumped from the bench and foumd herself right in front of him. "We could just go home right now or maybe we could stick around for just one more drink, oh yeah," he sang a little bit out of tune. "Cute," she smirked and he said, "And it was so easy to sing. So, it's your turn." "Would you like to make me a company on my way home?" she asked him instead. "Alright," he said little sadly and offered her his arm. "Thank you, sir," she joked and they walked silently through morning city. Birds were singing their morning song to the sun and first sun rays touched their faces and warmed their skin.

"So, we're here," they stopped in front one of the residental house, she went inside and he followed her to the entrance hall. "Hayley," Chris looked at her and grabbed her hands, "because you owe me a song, I see no other option - I guess we need to meet again." She let go his hands and searched in her purse for a second - she pulled out a pen and took his hand. "It's up to you," she smiled, turned and went toward the elevator. "And Chris?" she said and looked at him. "Yes, Hayley?" "Don't make me wait too long."

He chuckled and pulled out his phone from pocket - her phone rang few seconds later. "Yes?" she answered and couldn't help herself, she laughed. "Hi, it's me," he said and she came back to him, her phone still on her ear. They stood in the entrance hall, few people walked around them, watched them - watched two people staring at each other, made a call to each other, standing so close, that their bodies were touching. But the didn't notice curious eyes passing them, grumpy comments from other people, because they stood in their way.

"Who is 'me'?" she teased him. "No one important, just a guy, who would like to tell you, that he misses you already and he would like to take you for a breakfast tomorrow," he watched her tired but sparkling eyes, wagish smile on her lips. "That sounds great, Mr. No one," she chuckled, "do you wanna know a secret?" "Always." "I miss you too and I am glad, that you have called." He hang up the phone and pulled her closer. She didn't resist and let him kiss her, gently put his lips on her, silent moan came out from her mouth, when he found her bare skin underneath her clothes and caressed it. "You know what?" he whispered softly, "no breakfast, I'm gonna pick you up today after your work." "Okay," she smiled. One last kiss, quick waving and she disappeared in the elevator.
