A/N: SURPRISE!! ANOTHER UPDATE! I hope this drama-filled chapter makes up for the 50 million days I've been gone and the 300 billion filler chapters I've written. There is swearing in this chapter so be warned.
Barcelona, Spain- 26 years old
Since the two 'lovebirds' had nothing better to do, they had laid in bed for the rest of the day, just talking about one another and getting to know each other beyond their performance in the sheets.
As it grew later, though, Gerard had decided he needed to go home so that he could wake up early enough to get to practice without a distraction- as much as he'd enjoy it.
But that was a couple weeks ago, now, and Jade had the day off, as it was a weekend, but Gerard had a short, early-morning training to attend. Jade she only knew this because of the amount of times he texted her in the time they had known each other.
When Jade woke up, which was a lot later than Gerard did, she checked her phone to see a single text from the one and only.
Geri: Good morning, beautiful. I hope you had a great night's rest because I'm taking you out again tonight! Dress fancy, he wrote, but that was over two hours ago, and he was probably in practice now.
Finally deciding on getting up, Jade rushed into the bathroom to get ready for the day. She put on some mascara, light concealer on her problem areas, and some lipgloss. It was quick and nothing too fancy, because she still needed to do a bunch of other things before she could even think about going out.
First on her list; grocery shopping.

Jade had managed to get all of her errands somewhat done before Gerard had texted her the time he was coming over. He said he was going to be here at 20:00, which was about an hour from the time currently, which meant she had some time to get ready.
"What to wear..." Jade mumbled to herself while in search of something fancier than what she normally wore, when she heard a ring of her doorbell.
"Fuck!" She cursed and looked at the time. It had only been ten minutes since she started looking, so surely that couldn't be Gerard yet.
Rushing over to the door, she pulled it open to reveal no one, nothing except for a rectangular box sat in front of it. It had a sticky note on it and she picked it up, looking around before closing her door.
'Hope this gives you something to wear. I didn't anything too fancy in that closet of yours, so I took it upon myself to get you a little something. :)
-G'Jade smiled to herself at Gerard's thoughtfulness and slowly slid open the box, revealing a beautiful, full-length dress. One that was surely out of her price range.
"Dammit, Gerard!"
As she pulled it out, it became even more beautiful as the cleverly-placed sequins shimmered in the light. It was a nude colored dress with silver accents and tank-top sleeves and it was gorgeous.
Jade grinned as she set it aside and began working on her make-up. Something beautiful and fancy like the dress she was planning on wearing. She did normal foundation and concealer with mascara, eyeliner and shimmery eye-shadow, and finished it off with a nude lipstick.
Her hair, she put up into a tight bun with a headband and slipped on some silver pumps to match. Once she was finished, she checked her phone to see a text from Gerard saying he was on his way, and she put it in her clutch with her wallet and some other things.

"Reservation for 'Piqué', please." Gerard said as he led his date into the restaurant. His arm was circling her waist and she was flush against his side while the hostess took them to their table in a more private room. The whole experience reminded her of their first date on her birthday.
As they sat down, Jade couldn't help but scan the room, as beautiful as it was. It wasn't anything like the other restaurant they went to, but it was just as enticing. There were a few other people in there, most likely other people trying to get away from the crowded public area. Gerard chuckled at her adorableness once again and took her hand over the table, which made her focus on him.
"You look amazing, nena." He said as he placed a slow kiss on her knuckles, "I'm glad I got you that dress." He mumbled against her hand.
She giggled and tried to retreat her hand but he held it tight and laced his fingers with hers. Her blush once again took over her face as she looked down and smiled.
Their little romantic moment was cut off by the waitress stopping at their table to ask them if they were okay to order. Jade was about to respond with a no, but Gerard cut her off and smiled at the mesera.
"We'll both have a bottle of red wine and the Filet Mignon with Herbed Butter." He nodded and recited the order from the menus they were given.
"Of course. Your orders will be right out." She said cheerfully, before walking away to the staff area.
"So, as you already know, I brought you here to ask you a very important question," Gerard looked into her eyes with a smirk, "would you, fair maiden, like to be my girlfriend?"
"Of course, Geri."
He leaned across the table to press a quick peck to her lips, but again, was interrupted by rowdy cheering coming from the opposite end of the room. The two pulled apart to see what all of the commotion was about and saw a man on one knee in front of a girl in a very expensive dress.
"Oh my god!" Gerard yelled as he pulled Jade out of her seat and over to the newly engaged couple. As they got closer, Jade recognized that face and his hair and everything about him. And as Gerard came to a stop in front of them, she was sure the look on his face perfectly reflected the one on hers.
"J-Jade..?" He thought he whispered but apparently it was louder than he thought.
"Leo?" Was the only thing Jade could respond with as Mari rolled her eyes and sat down.
"What's going on, babe? You two know each other?" Gerard asked, a bit confused with the whole thing.
"Yeah, we used to be friends a few years ago." Leo said simply.
"Wow, you've changed a lot." He said as he scanned over Jade's body in the dress. She was just as beautiful as he had always remembered, maybe even more. She looked over her shoulder and chuckled, before looking back.
"It's been eight fucking years, Leo." She snapped with a sarcastic smile, borderline angrily, but there were plenty of reasons why she couldn't cause a scene, so she grabbed Gerard's hand and stomped back to their table.
Maybe she was being childish, but he couldn't just burst back into her life and resurface all of her feelings right on the spot, especially when he was going to be married soon. It just wasn't fair.
Why did her life have to be this way?
