Cas has been preparing for this moment for at least a month. Gabriel has been as well. Buying the things they need for a new house, packing all of their belongings into a few measly boxes, and searching for places. Now here they are, two days after Gabriel's graduation and they are shoving their boxes into Gabriel's rust bucket of a car. They aren't bothering with their beds, Gabriel has a furniture plan with the apartment complex.

"Do you think dad will even notice?" Cas asks, as they are gathering the last few things from his room.

"Probably not, I mean he didn't even know I graduated until yesterday, that's only because I left my graduation gown on the table." Gabriel rolls his eyes.

"I'm sure he would have gone if you invited." Cas responds.

"No he wouldn't have, he would have  told me 'something came up' and then not go." Gabriel says gruffly. "He did it to Michael and Lucifer. Besides, I don't need him when I have you cheering for me." Gabriel grins. Cas smiles happily.

"Come on, it's about time we leave this dump." Gabriel grabs the last box. Cas skips down to the car that Gabriel spent so long to get. Gabriel starts it and rolls out of the driveway, on the way to their new home.

Cas is excited about it. Gabriel has worked hard to get it, saved up a lot of money, just so they can live better. And not to mention the fact that their apartment is like a fifteen minute walk to Dean's house. So Cas can go and visit him every day.

They pull up and Dean is waiting for them outside the building. The car had just pulled to a stop when Cas races out and jumps into Dean's arms.

"Thought I could help you move in." Dean grins. Then Cas notices the smaller person beside Dean.

"Hi, Sam!" Cas smiles.

"Hey Cas," Sam murmurs. He's always been a quiet kid. Ever since Cas started dating Dean, he hasn't been able to get a whole conversation out of him.

"First day at the new home, how does it feel to be moved out of your house at only 14?" Dean pretends to hold a microphone to Cas.

"Well, let's just say I couldn't be happier. I'm living closer to my awesome boyfriend, finally out of the God-awful house and living with my favorite older brother. Life can't be any better." Cas smiles widely.

"Alright you two, quit screwing around and help me carry this stuff in!" Gabriel calls in a light tone. Dean and Cas go to the car, pulling out boxes and following Gabriel up to the third floor. Sam trails behind, carrying a lamp, the cord dragging on the floor.

"Welcome home, Cassie!" Gabriel grins, pushing the door open. This is Cas' first time seeing it since the day they came to check it out about a month ago.

Cas sighs happily looking into the living room, kitchen, and dining room combo of their new home. The furniture people had come by yesterday, setting up everything they need.

The living room area is furnished with a large black L shaped couch, a TV stand and a computer desk; and a table and chairs in the dining room area. Cas rushes to his room, and grins. He has a queen sized bed with a simple black wooden headboard. Sitting next to that is a nightstand.

He also has a black dresser and a bookshelf just waiting to be filled with with the books that took one and a half boxes to pack. Cas drops his box to the floor, which happens to be the one full of books then does a little happy dance.

"You like it?" Gabriel asks from the doorway. Cas nods vigorously, words can't even explain how much he loves it.

"I finally have my own room." Cas murmurs. Ever since he could remember he's shared a room with Gabriel. But now he has a whole room to himself, a whole room to fill with whatever he wants.

"Yeah," Gabriel grins. "And your own bathroom."

"How are you even able to afford all this?" Cas asks.

"Well, I just got another job, janitor at a college not far from here, nights. That combined with my job at the candy shop, it's far more than enough." Gabriel explains.

"It's a nice place." Dean comments, squeezing past Gabriel and setting the box he's carrying on the box of books.

"Yes it is, and I'm proud of it. Been waiting a hell of a long time for it too." Gabriel sighs.

"Where does this go?" Sam asks quietly, holding out the lamp.

"Living room, wanna help me unpack dishes?" Gabriel asks softly. Sam nods and follows Gabriel to the living room. Leaving Cas and Dean along together.

"You tell your dad?" Dean asks, sitting on the sheetless bed.

"No, he probably wouldn't care. Two less mouths to feed, though he never really is ever around to buy food anyways." Cas rolls his eyes.

"I know all about that." Dean murmurs. Cas reaches over and grabs his hand.

"It's all just going to get better from now on." Cas says happily.

"It sure is." Dean nods.
