A/N- I know its soon but I already took care of the plagiarizers.
And this is the longest chapter I ever wrote... so I'm a little happy bout that
*ADAM'S P.O.V.*
I quickly walk out of the hospital before my mother can stop me. I already knew she saw me walk out, but I was hoping she wouldn't say anything.
I walk onto the street checking behind me to see if the wicked witch is around [a.k.a.-my mother]. I see no sign of her so I continue on.
I don't have a car, so I guess walking and the bus will do. There's no way I'm going back to the hospital with my mother there. I don't want to go home either though. Knowing my dad, he's probably banging his secretary in his office or something.
I walk a block to the bus stop, and sit. What should I do? I think of calling Tyler, seeing if there's a party I could get trashed at, but think better of it. What about Lily? I pull out my phone and text her 'hey'.
She doesn't answer so I continue to text her, one message right after another. She finally texts me back saying, 'stop texin' me!'.
Okay then I guess I'll call. It rings for like a second before she answers. "What!" She whispers loudly
"I'm guessing this was a bad time?" I say.
"Adam? How do you even have my number?" She whispered.
"I stole it from Ian's phone yesterday. Why are we whispering?" I whispered.
"Just stop texting me, okay?" She said a little louder
"Why?" I said in a normal voice.
"Adam." She whined
"If you don't tell me, I'll keep calling." I replied in a sing-song voice.
"Ugh, you are such a pain in my-"
"Lily! Such foul language. Now tell me what you're doing that's so IMPORTANT, that you can't talk to the most awesomest person alive?"
I heard her sigh. "I'm on a date, okay? Great talk, by-"
"Oh shit! Cinder-Lily is on a date with her prince Callum? Finally, right?"
"Adam." She sounded exasperated.
"Okay, I get it! Why so cranky? Ohhhh, did I ruin a moment or something?"
"Yes, Adam. You did. So bye, and don't call or text me."
"Wait! Lil! I won't bother you anymore, but can I crash at your house for a while. Your grandma will let me in right?" I ask more serious.
"Yeah, fine. My Grams is at her garden club but Carter's there. He can open the door for you."
"Okay, thanks. Later" I say.
" Hey Adam! Why do you need to stay at my house? Is there something going on?" Her voice was worried.
"Oh now you want to talk? Don't worry bout' it Cinder-Lilly, my mom's just giving me a hard time. You know how she is."
She seemed to take that answer because she say, "Okay, then. Bye, Adam."
"Later, Cinder-Lily. Make sure to be home by midnight other wise you'll turn into a frog, grow a fish tale, fall into a deep sleep, you know? Shit like that."
She laughed. "Sure Adam."
I hung up. I guess I'm headed to Lilly's house. Carter's there, though. Perfect opportunity to get answers out of him...
