The next day at school was just flat out awkward. I gave into Luke and now I felt dirty.
"Kate!" A low voice called out.
I turn around to see the one and only Calum hood walk my way. I have forgiven Calum for what he has done, but I am not taking him back.
"I was wondering if you wanted to hang out tonight?" He asks with a grin.
"Of course, my house?" I ask with a giggle.
Even though I forgave him, he is still very nervous that he is going to mess up again. I find it very sweet, but maya thinks it's bullshït.
"yeah! I'll see you then" he says rubbing my shoulder and running towards his other friends.

Ashton was teaching the class today since Luke was absent. That's weird, when is Luke absent?
"Is mr. Hemmings okay?" Minty asks
"Yes I think he just had to attend to a doctors appointment" Ashton says with a smile on his face.
The whole class passes by without any interruptions or trouble. Thank God.
Once the bell rings minty gets up and hikes up her skirt again.
"Who's her next victim I wonder" maya says walking up to me.
"Probably a jock" I answer
We both grab all of our things and begin to walk out of the class.
"Luke wasn't in" maya says looking at me.
"Yeah I know. I am alittle worried he never misses a day, it must be something important if he's gone." I say beginning to worry.
"Well actually maybe he's sick" she says with a shrug.
I walk to my locker and begin to place my books in until I realized I left one in Ashton's classroom.
"I left something in Ashton's classroom, would you like to come?" I ask while placing everything else I need for the rest of the day in my strong bag.
Maya agrees and we begin to walk towards his classroom.
"So you and Ashton? Back together?" She asks while wiggling her eyebrows.
"I don't know, I think we are exploring us" I say with a cheeky smile.
Ever since we started talking again every emotion I felt when we first met each other rushed back into my head.
What about Luke?
"I'm happy for you guys, even though I'm personally a Kuke shipper" she says with a joking grin.
"He makes me so happy maya I can't even explain" I say realizing I am probably blushing like a fool.
Which one? Luke or Ashton?
I shake my head quickly before I twist the knob to his temporary classroom. I hear giggles, girl giggles.
"Ashton when are you gonna dump her?" She female asks in a flirty manner
"Dump who baby girl?" He asks.
"That stupid slüt Kate" she says in a duh tone.
"She's just a quick fling, she means nothing to me"
My heart shatters.
"Good, because you're mines and only mines." She says.
I hear shifting in the seat and the sounds of lips connecting and reconnecting.
Maya looks at me with an open mouth.
"K-Kate I-I'm" she begins to stutter.
But when a heart breaks, no, it don't break even
I twist the knob and walk inside of the classroom. I still need the book of my homework will be marked as missing.
Minty.
Minty quickly hops off of Ashton's lap and looks petrified.
  "I left my book here mr. Irwin" I say quickly trying to push back tears.
"Katie-" he begins but maya cuts him off
"Shut the fück up!"
I quickly grab my book and begin to walk out of the classroom. I don't look back I just keep on walking towards the school exit.
To Calum:
Skip school. Meet me at the park.
After I text him I begin to sprint towards the park. Maya tries to follow me, but of course she isn't gonna leave school.
From Calum:
I'll be right there.
After a couple minutes of sobbing on a park bench trying to stop the urge of me ripping out my hair, Calum to show up.
"Oh my gosh Kate what's wrong?" He asks kneeling in front of me and rubbing my knees.
After explaining everything, and I mean everything (not about Luke tho). Calum's jaw is clenched in anger.
"C'mere" he says opening his arms.
I walk into his arms and he carries me over
to the play ground. After we get comfortable he takes out a joint.
"I didn't know you smoked" I say looking up at him.
"Only as a stress reliever, but I think today you deserve it" he says offering it to me.
Take it.
I quickly grab it and place it to my lips, allowing Calum to light it.
I think my poison is you.
Calum is your poison? No Luke it idiot!
Luke is happy with his wife
He didn't say that when you were riding his thigh!
I quickly shake the inner battle I was having out of my head and inhaled the smoke. I exhale and allow the smoke to go into the air around us.
I can get use to this
