My back was starting to hurt from carrying this bag for so long. I've walked maybe at most two miles since I left the house.
You have to keep going. You're too close. They will find you.
I didn't recognize exactly where I was either. The familiar streets of my hometown disappeared and were replaced with the dirty ones I am left with.
I left my phone at my house beforehand so they couldn't track me, or worse, call me.
I continued to walk up the block before I spotted a small park with a playground. I quickly made my way over there, taking a seat on the playground stairs.
Has anyone even seen the letter yet?
Probably. Doesn't mean they care though
Someone has to care.

"Mr hemmings I have no idea where she is"
"Mr hemmings we need to act fast"
"I'm calling Ashton"
I snapped back into reality when I heard his name.
"NO!" I shouted banging my hand against the coffee table.
Skylar let out a scared gasp as tears trailed down her cheeks and onto her neck.
"H-he might know where she is" she says softly holding herself tightly.
"I'm not letting him near her skylar. Think of a new plan" I say with gritted teeth.
The only thing that could be heard was the sound of my feet pacing back and forth. My mind was full.
You could of helped her.
Only if you were a minute quicker.. maybe you could of stopped her
Those thoughts clouded my mind as I grabbed my keys.
"Skylar.... go to ashtons.... tell him what's going on. I need to find her on my own..."
"Mr. Hemmings I can't let you go alone" skylar says in a timid voice.
Mr. Hemmings.
She says it the same way Kate does.
"I'm sorry but if we are going to get Kate. I will need to do this on my own"
That was the last thing I said before walking out of my house and driving off.
