Luke hemmings
Once I heard my baby girl say my new teaching assistants first name my jaw clenches. Does she have a thing for older men? Wait... That's hot.
I can tell tears were brimming her eyes as she spaced out. I want to run over to her and wrap my arms around her and hold her close, but I can't with all these kids in the class.
A sniffle leaves her nose as everyone hears a girl say
Wow Kate is a slüt for older guys.
I couldn't help it. I really couldn't. I turn to the source of the noise and said through gritted teeth
"Not as much as you are, we all know your boobs aren't that big"
I hear gasps and giggles fill the classroom after I say those words. It gave my princess enough time to run out of the classroom without anyone giving her a hard time.
Who is Ashton? And why does his present make my baby cry?
I turn my head and look at him, up and down.
"Who the hell are you to her?" I ask softly, not wanting the rest of the class to hear.
"I was her first love and real heartbreak"

Flashback
He held my hand as I knocked on the front door of Chris's house. I had to pick up my things, and I wasn't going to just leave them there. I wanted too, but Ashton wouldn't let me let him win.
He opens the door with messed up hair and his shirt off.
"Uh... Kate I'm in the middle of-"
"Chris!!"
I frown, knowing exactly who that voice belongs too.
"I want my stuff, give it to me now" I say trying not to cry. I don't know what I did to deserve this all. It was a mess of my own creation it seemed like.
Ashton kisses my cheek and holds me close.
"Baby girl you're doing great" he says softly into my ear
Chris returns back with my stuff.
I grab Ashton's hand and quickly walk back to the car. Ashton gave me confidence.
Only if I knew he would be the one to take it away.
