I don't know how long I was asleep. It felt like an eternity, and yet, it felt like only a few seconds. The only thing around me was darkness. All of my senses had been taken from me. I couldn't feel my physical body. It was a strange feeling... nothingness.

All of a sudden, my senses were back and I opened my eyes. I was lying on a hospital bed in a dimly lit room with cement walls and a rickety, metal, spiral staircase in the center of the room leading to an unknown place. I was back to my normal self, but something didn't feel right. I had all five senses, but it felt odd.

I didn't know where the idea came from at the time, but after a few seconds, it popped into my head. I was dreaming. This was not reality. I was still sleeping.

"Indeed," said a voice that I'd recognize anywhere "You are still sleeping. This is the final part of your test. I'm going to see how your mind works and how you handle difficult situations." At that, Slenderman stopped speaking and the action began.

The walls of the room slowly started to close in. I didn't know how long it would take to crush me, but I knew I had at least a minute. The only thing in the entire room besides the hospital bed was the spiral staircase. "Is this really the best you can do?" I ask the room around me. I try to get up to walk up the stairs, but I realize quickly that my I'm tied to each leg of the bed at my ankles and wrists. I pull on the ropes, but they only get tighter. I stop struggling and look around me. Nothing. There was no way to untie myself and escape.

Then it hit me. "I don't need something to cut the ropes!" I said before using my concentration to turn back into a cat. At first it didn't work, and I was still half human as the walls continued to close in around me. I tried again. I closed my eyes and cleared my mind, blocking out everything around me. I felt the change. I opened my eyes to find that I was, indeed, the grey and black cat I had been before. My arms and legs slipped easily out of their restraints, and I leaped off the bed. I didn't bother changing form before dashing stealthily up the stairs.
