How I, Primrose, Came To Be

Meeting the Family

Just after LJ spoke, my stomach growled loudly. I realized that I had no idea how long it had been since I had last eaten. I looked up at him and said the word "food". He laughed and told me he'd take me to the kitchen to find something to eat. He led me down the hallway to the right, and we came upon a large staircase leading down to the huge foyer of the mansion. On the floor below, more doors led off to unknown rooms. 

LJ led me down the stairs and through an open doorway off to the right. We entered into a large living room area with multiple sofas and the largest flatscreen t.v. I had ever seen. Several game systems were plugged into it, and an elvish boy was playing one of them, totally entranced in his game. There were others in the room that looked up when we entered, and most of them instantly came over to greet me. I recognized two of them as Jeff and Toby, from when they attacked me before. I was introduced to several people, some of which being Masky, Hoodie, Eyeless Jack, Bloody Painter, Lost Silver, a dog named Smile Dog, a cat named Grinny, and a small girl named Sally.

"Ben!" Jeff said, getting, for the first time, the attention of the boy playing video games. The boy dressed in all green turned to look at me, turned back to pause his game, and came over to greet me like the others. 

"Hey." He said to me "Name's Ben Drowned." I replied with a "Hi", and asked him what game he was playing. He told me it was Mario Kart 64, my favorite game ever, and I challenged him to a race sometime. He smirked and accepted the not so difficult challenge, then went back to his game. The people around me scattered to various places, and LJ led me into the room to our left. It was the kitchen. We found Masky sitting on the counter, shoving his face full of cheesecake. On the table was a plate that held a tuna fish sandwich, and a glass of milk next to it. There was a note next to it that read: 

                             Primrose, eat this if you are hungry.  ~ Slenderman

I sat down at the table, mentally thanking Slenderman. "You're quite welcome" I heard him reply in my head from an unknown place. I had forgotten he can read minds, and I jumped at the sudden reply. LJ, who had sat down next to me, looked to me curiously. 

"Slender talked to me in my head." I told him. He laughed his happily maniacal laugh as I devoured my food. Masky, who was still on the counter, finished the whole cheesecake and received yet another, taking it with him as he walked out of the kitchen. LJ sat beside me, practically inhaling tons of candy he kept pulling out of his pocket. I was amazed at how so much candy could fit in there. He looked to me with his usual smile, and somehow managed to smile even wider. 

"Want some candy?" he asked me. After another one of his small laughing fist, I replied. 

"Only if you have my favorite, Kitkats!" He digs through his pile of assorted candy and pulls out several Kitkats. I smiled as I started to open one. Suddenly, a hand appeared and took the candy from me. I looked up to see that it was Jeff. 

"Trust me," he told me "You don't want to eat any of his candy."

LJ looked to the ground and mumbled "It wasn't poisoned."
