Morgan×Pov

I pulled the blankets off of me and walked towards Dr. Davidoff. He made me go out first and then shuts the door behind him. I started to get nervous, and my stomach started to hurt. I put my hand up to where It was in front of my eyes. I was shaking, and that is what I seem to do when I get nervous.

Her room was only three doors down from mine. When I approached her door I stepped aside to let Dr. Davidoff scan his I.D card. He let me go in first and left me there alone with her. Chloe is sitting at the edge of her bed. I can see dark circles under her eyes. It looks like she hasn't gotten enough sleep.

I spot a gray metal chair and put it about 1 foot away from her. I take a seat then read her mind,

Why is she coming in here? Is she with the Edison Group?

"I'm Morgan" I informed her. I looked around the room to see a bunch of plain white walls. The only other color in here is the chair I'm sitting in. Why was it so different compared to mine?

I leaned closer towards her and whisper, "I'm not with the Edison Group. I'm supposed to be here to find out where you and the others were last. I have a plan for you to escape." She looks around the room. She doesn't seem to trust me. I look over my shoulder and listen very carefully to see if Dr. Davidoff is there.

"Please, just try and trust me. I'll tell Dr. Davidoff what he wants to hear. Then when you get a chance, escape. Ok got it?" I said. She nods. I continue, "Also, the Edison Group will bring Simon's insulin since he has diabetes. Find a way to get it if you can. I guess that's all I need to say. Escape Chloe, escape. I'll meet you out there in this crazy world."

I stand up and turn to the door. Wait, I forgot to say something. I guess it'll have to wait. The door opens and there is Dr. Davidoff standing there. He waves me out. When I'm back out there we stop and he asks me, "So where is it?"

"She will know when she sees it. So you have to take her to the factory." He gives me a nod. He leads me to my room. "Wait," I demand, "You still have to take me to see Avery." He sighs and we walk to her room. He opens the door and Avery isn't there. Has she already escaped?
