M.S
As much as missing school would normally mess with the mind of a "nerd" like me, I was actually looking forward to enjoying time away from that hellhole. I mean, I was going to be with Niall. Plus, I didn't have to go to work for a couple days. And they were paid days off too!
I feel terrible for what I had done in his bathroom especially knowing that I had promised him that I would tell him when I had those urges again. I mean, it's not like I had the urge to actually kill myself in his house. I just...wanted the pain to stop...that's all. Niall was definitely the better solution but my mind wasn't thinking clearly. But now it is. Niall is and always will be the better solution.
It's been only a day since what happened. My throat was seeming to feel better, but I had Niall make me tea anyway. My arms though? Well, Niall had cleaned and then put new bandages on them. I wasn't really sure what Niall and I were going to do today, but I wouldn't mind what it was as long as I was with him.
"Marcel?" I looked towards the door to see Niall standing there shirtless and leaning against the door frame. "What would you say to going on a little road trip? Just you and I...unless you want Genma to come—"
"I just want it to be you and I," I said softly, but with a smile.
"Just you and I?" I nodded. "Alright. Then let's get ready, yeah? You put on some pants and I'll put on a shirt."
Yes. I was pants-less. I was only wearing an oversized shirt that I had brought from my house. It was comfortable and I liked wearing it. Needless to say, despite how tall I was, I was drowning in this shirt.
I took off the shirt and dropped it to the floor, now leaving me in only my boxers. Niall had walked into the room and to his dresser where he pulled out a shirt; that's when I noticed some marks on his back.
"Did Stefan and Trevor do that to you?" I asked as Niall closed the dresser drawer with a shirt now in his right hand.
"What are you talking about Marcel?"
I walked over to him and lightly touched the scars on his back, accidentally making Niall wince.
"D-Did I hurt you? I-I'm so sorry."
"It's fine, Marcel..." He pulled the shirt on then sighed as he faced me. He opened his mouth but then quickly shut it, only to open it and speak seconds later. "Yes. Stefan and Trevor did that to me."
"N-no!" I cried out.
"Marcel, it's—"
"No it's not okay! I never wanted this to happen. I never wanted you to get hurt! I didn't want you to take my place!"
"But I did, Marcel. I did take your place and it's the best decision I've made in the 13 years that I've known you besides saying yes to being your boyfriend. If I hadn't taken your place, they would've hurt you the way they hurt me and I don't know if I could hold myself back from erasing them from this planet." Niall sighed softly before pressing his lips to my forehead. "I promise, lovebug. I'm fine. They are just scars."
"But..."
"No buts, my love. Finish getting dressed so we can go. Okay?"

I didn't know where we were going, but Niall had packed us a little picnic lunch and had put it into a cute little basket. Every time I would ask "are we there yet?" he would just softly laugh and shake his head at me.
"You're so impatient, lovebug," he laughed when I had asked him for probably the tenth time.
"I'm just curious as to where you're taking me. None of this looks familiar to me."
