Moving On & On

Nishi pov

Today I was feeling good it's been nearly a month now, we came back to Mumbai last month and since then I have gone through many medical tests and was given bed rest. After coming back to Mumbai my life suddenly changed ...really... one day I heard my mom crying hugging my dad in between her cry I heard my mom saying my baby Is weak from inside and she can never be..... After that night when I checked my report I stopped messaging Arjun, I don't want to hurt Arjun he will think I am weak due to him.he always think that he is the reason i am weak ...my chain of though broken with the knock on my door.

"Baby mam is asking if you like to join them for dinner" Kamla our house maid smiled and walk inside my room.

I kept down the photo frame which was on my hand. Me and Arjun in Chandigarh, it was taken last month during vocation. I took a deep breath "I love you Arjun" I thought.

"Nishi baby if you want I will bring your dinner in your room" ...she asked me looking at me with concern.

"Let's go" I stood walks with her."you look fresh and fine today" she smiled at me.

I smiled at her and walk to dining room where my parents and Neel smiled at me. Mom got up from her chair "you look fine" she kissed my forehead. "yes mom I am good" I pulled out chair and sat beside Neel, ruffling his hair I smiled at my brother.

We all ate our dinner quietly. I want to talk to my parents but I don't know how they will take my decision.

"Daddy" I looked at my dad,he smiled at me a real smile which brings peace inside me I love my daddy and I know daddy and mommy will understand me.

"Nishi" mom called out and I smiled and took a deep breath.

"Umm I dad" I closed my eyes "dad mom I want to go to NY for my further studies" I said and opened my eyes.

"No" was the reply I got from my parents. I was expecting this answer, I stood up and walk between my parent chairs and took their hand in mine.

"Let me go I want to explore myself I am fine. Look at me mom a single small physical problem is not end of life I just... I closed my eyes and tear roll down my cheeks  "I am fine dad" I looked at them with expectation.

 Mom stood and took me into hug "I will arrange your stay there with your aunt Vimmi" her lower lip trembled and her eyes filled with tears.

"No" my dad angrily stood throwing is napkin on table.

"Daddy please I will take care of myself I am just weak but I promise I will became stronger like you" I smiled and hugged my parents.

"Are you sure you're going to be all right" he asked I never saw my dad emotional like this, "I'll be fine dad really" I kissed his cheeks "OK then I will check the colleges" he looked down at me and said.

"Already done and got reply" I said smiling at him.

"Great di I will come along with you" Neel ran to me and hugs me "here we come NY".

Navneet looked at his daughter I pray to God that you will find what is rightfully your and I know one day Arjun will understand your love he thought and smiled a small tear roll down his eyes.

Arjun pov

It's been a month I didn't received any mail from Nishi I am feeling scared she use to mail me daily but now suddenly she stopped writing me. I know I never replied any of her mail after coming back from Chandigarh but she never fails to write to me, something is surely wrong I drove down to my dad's office.I never visit here until unless I was needed for some office work I sometime work here temporarily .

"May I come in dad" I knocked at his cabin door. Dad is executive chef and is also board member of this hotel. 

"Come in son" Gale replied. Gale is George son, George is my dad's boss owner of the hotel. Gale has one daughter of two year and his wife is also board member other than  that George donot have any family just four of them.

"Sorry" I smiled and peep inside the cabin "sorry to disturb" I said and smiled cheekily. "Come on Arjun we were just discussing about meeting, tomorrow's board meeting and I was leaving" Gale smiled and hit my head playfully with his knuckle.

"Anand see you tomorrow in meeting" he waved at my father "yes boss" my dad smiled and saluted .Gale walks out and closed the door behind him.

"Ok" my dad sat on his leather chair and smiled at me.

"What brings you here? At this time ...He checked his wrist watch "don't you have class today" he asked frowning at me.

"No  off today" I pulled chair and sat opposite to his desk.

"You look tensed" my dad looked at me with concern.

I took a deep breath "I don't know why Nishi stopped messaging me it's been months dad I just... I know I don't reply her but"...... I rock in my chair. "Umm if you don't mind" I took a deep breath "will you call Navneet pa and check with him" I said breathlessly and closed my eyes.

Why I am behaving like this I don't know Nishi is my friend and I really care for my princess.

"Do you love her Arjun" my dad firmly asked.

"Yes off course" I said and shocked at my own word "yes dad like a friends she is my best friend best childhood friend that's all" I hesitantly replied all scene of Chandigarh came back clouding my mind .

My father narrowed his brow and looked at me he took his mobile and dialled"Navneet" he smiled "how are you buddy, Great that's good news" dad stood up and walk towards me.

"Ok...yes" he paused and looked at me "I will surely convey take care bye and Navneet I am angry  with ....you are giving this news very late" my father mocked at his friend and smiled and put the mobile back on the desk.

I looked at my dad curiously, he smiled and put his hand on my shoulder "she is moving on my boy you don't have to be scared she is fine now and moved to NY to her aunt Vimmi"

I smiled and laid back on chair "I am happy for you princess but why you didn't mail me" I thought and looked back at my mobile. She is really moving on.

Anand looked at hisson he can see love in his eye but right now Arjun is unaware of this one day surely he will understand. He smiled at his son and walk back to his chair.

Friends and my dear reader a leap and story will take a turn and some new twist.
