Deepest Love or Anger.

This is continuation of the last chapter Eight cupcakes.

"Nishika ever asked about her mother I mean ..."she passed him their 5th mini cupcake.

"No, Nishika never asked me about her mother but one day she saw an angel on TV, she touched the screen and said daddy she is my mommy," Arjun laughed sweetly.

" One day she met same angel in temple, I don't know  but she recognized her and ran to her and called her mommy."

Nishi was sobbing badly now Arjun looked at Nishi , "same day that angel walk to our door and from that day our life changed my Nishika got mom and I got my best friend back" he pulled her into his lap putting his cheek against her he whispered "never leave me, promise me you will never leave us Nishi" he hysterically cried in her arms.

She wrapped her arm around his neck, "I never wanted to leave you, you were the one who broke the promise Arjun, you left me that night when I was burning with fever," Nishi said she was furious he kept her away from his pain, he never wrote her back and now he want her to promise, "I always kept my promise" she said looking directly into his eyes.

"I was scared Nishi, I was scared that I will hurt you again," he paused trying to hold back his emotion and the truth that he was asked to leave.

"Really!!" she got up from his lap, "why were you scared?" she tilted her head and asked.

Arjun try to reach her but she jerked away, "Answer me why were you scared?" she screamed.

Arjun stood their without a words, he don't have words to explain, its true he never reciprocated her love because he never thought he will ever fall for his princess that cute little princess, but thing changed the day they shared a kiss and same day Nimmi maa asked him to leave, he never wanted to hurt so he left her 8 years back, when they were in Chandigarh.

"You don't have answer Arjun," she walk to him and pulled him by his collar and whispered, "But I know, you were scared because I loved you, you were scared because you never loved me back and so never replied any of my mails," she rubbed her cheeks roughly "I can understand Arjun but we were friends you know you were always my weakness."

"That's why I kept you away from all this" he fall down on his knees and wrapped his arm around her waist a sob escaped from his mouth, "I am sorry princess please don't be angry with me please princess I beg you."

"No.. Arjun you kept me away because you don't have any explanation for that kiss" she pushed him back and ran inside the room.

Arjun sat there for long his heart pained to see her like this, after some time he went inside but Nishi was not in his room, what I have done if she again fall week or ill then Nimmi maa will take her away from me I can't afford this, I can't live without her he ran to the guest room.

Nishi changed into shorts and tees switched on the night lamp and lay back on her bed. Why am I angry because he didn't replied my mail or he didn't told me about his marriage or Nishika or he didn't shared his pain with me or I am crying and angry for the kiss which we shared in Chandigarh she thought still sobbing badly. Why I am behaving like this with Arjun God please tell me why?

She was twisting and turning when she saw Arjun opens her door and walks inside. She shut her eyes and faked sleep, she don't want to talk to him right now.

Arjun slowly walk towards her bed and sat beside her, he lightly strokes her cheek; her cheeks were still wet with the tears.

He took a deep breath, "Nishi I know you are still awake" he said. Nishi lay there eyes still shut tightly trying to hold herself.

"I promise I won't leave you again and will never hide anything with you" he professed and lean in to kiss her cheek but she turned and their lips meet accidently she gasped as his lips lightly brushed hers, in shock she opened her eyes . Arjun gulped but he didn't move he kept staring into her tear filled eyes. He wanted to kiss those sweet lips again but he holds back, he moved back and caresses her cheek and left.

Nishi is confused, why she is so angry with her Aljun? My lovely friends help her and share why she is behaving this way.
