Truth or Dare.. Again

I woke up at about 9 and I went downstairs to have breakfast. I texted Alyssa as I walked down the stairs.

'To Alyssa😘

When are we gonna go laser tagging? I gotta let my aunt know'

I grabbed a granola bar out of the pantry and went into the living room, sitting on the couch as my phone vibrated.

'From Alyssa😘

Well I was thinking later today? At like 6? But we can hang until then maybe at like 10 if that's okay.'

I quickly replied saying yes and walked upstairs.

I took a quick shower and put on my light blue floral shorts and a white shirt. I wanded my hair and put a cute blue flower clip in it.

I walked out of the house and went to Alyssa's.

Should I tell Alyssa I think I like Matthew?

I have a feeling she'll make me tell him or she'll tell him. Hmmmm.. I don't know but I know for a fact he doesn't like me back. I'm just an ugly girl who everyone picks on.

When I approached her doorstep I knocked lightly waiting for an answer. She opened the door almost immediately.

"Hey, what do you wanna do until 6?" Alyssa asked looking bored. Geez, she always had to be entertained.

"Maybe we could just talk for a while.."

Alyssa looked at me and I tried not to look her in the eye.

"What's wrong? You only wanna talk when you're upset about something." Alyssa said looking at me.

Should I tell her? I really don't want her to tell Matthew.. But I really want someone to talk to. Well I guess I'll just tell her...

"I-I think I like Matthew but I don't know because in really confused. When we kissed last night it just felt so amazing and I know he doesn't like me back and-"

I was cut off my Alyssa laughing.

"What?" I asked really confused.

"You don't think he likes you? You guys were all cuddly last night while we were watching the movie, and I heard him say something about you being cute. Afterwards he even walked you home. Why would he just do that for no reason?" she started laughing again.

"He was just being nice." I said quickly.

"Just being nice? Did you see how after you guys kissed last night his eyes were sparkling and he was staring at you since we had got to his house! He totally likes you." Alyssa said sounding almost jealous.

"Well either way I'm

not gonna tell him. He's probably just gonna forget about me anyways. He probably hangs out with tons of girls." I said looking down as I said the last part.

"Can I see your phone?" Alyssa asked. I handed her my phone wondering what she was gonna do with it.

"What are you doing?" I asked.

"Texting Matthew." She said like it was nothing.

"What?! What are you telling him? You better not be embarrassing me!" I took my phone away from her. She deleted the text.

"What did you tell him?" I asked getting mad.

"Chill. I just asked him to come laser tagging with us." She said and got up to walk into her room.

My phone buzzed and I checked who it was from.
