Dimitri's POV
"This will never get easier will it?" I spoke to my mates twin, Ana, as I watched a beautiful white wolf run off into the woods in a defiant fire.
"With 'Laisia?" She chucked, "Nope. Never. But it will be worth it. Alaisia is hot headed and endlessly stubborn, though neither will admit it, just like our mother. But when she loves...she will do anything for you. She will die for you before you can even think about dying for her. Has she showed you? The scars?" Ana spoke still staring out into the woods. She was identicle to Alaisia, but yet so diiferent. They have the same nose, lips, skin tone, hair..the only difference is one eye color. The differences was the way all these things sat on their face. Alaisia's nose had a slight crook to it because of the many breaks to her nose, but yet they both have slightly turned up noses with skinny bridges. Their lips both are big and pouty, but Ana's had a slight smile to hers while Alaisia's mouth was set into a hard line cause she grinds her teeth when she thinks, and she is in deep thought all the time. I loved her, and as much as I wanted her back in the castle, my wolf wanted her back more.
"I'm going to get her." I started to let myself shift.
"Not a good idea." Ana put a hand on my arm.
"Who are you to tell me what to do with my mate?" I growled.
"I'm her sister, her twin sister, I've known her literally her entire life, if you go after her now, she won't come back wihtout a fight. She's mad, can you not feel it? Her anger? I can..it will be a blood bath, and the blood will be yours." she reasoned. So for once, I listened to someone other than myself. I didn't go after Alaisia.

Alaisia's POV
I didn't know if Dimitri was following me, but I wasn't slowing down to check.

What are you doing? my wolf asked me angrily, like it was my fault.

What do you mean? I'm going on a run like every morning. I said back.

You're being childish. Dimitri is just trying to protect you and you are being a spoiled bitch. She snapped back.

I'm not being a bitch. I won't be ordered around and controlled. Plus ,who would he even send with me? I was brought here to protect him, who would protect me better than me? I reasoned.

You are being very prideful. We are protective over our mates, especially the males. Russia is a lot more dangerous than Scotland, what if there was an ambush? You are the future queen, mate to the prince---future king, you are known all over the world for your kills. Whether you like it or now you are a target. Just as she said it, a familiar smell drifted across my nose.

Vampire. I shouted the word out tot my girls and to every wolf close. As soon as I finished the word the vampire flew out of the trees and on top of me. I shifted to human form and used the vampire's own momentum against him and rolled backwards, kicking out so he flew into a nearby tree, hitting so hard he knocked it over. I didn't hesitate before I lunged onto him, knife that was strapped to my thing in hand. No matter what I am doing, awake or asleep, I had that knife strapped to my thigh. It's small, but it always works. I jammed the knife into his chest and twisted until he stopped screaming. As I stood, the hairs on the back of my neck stood on end and I braced myself for another fight. I turned and was met with two vampire, I widened my stance and growled.

"Well, look what he have here, Gus, a little warrior prin---ah!" I didn't wait for him to finish before I jumped him. Get them before they get you. I rammed my knife so hard into his chest my hand, knife going through his heart, came out on the other side. His friend let out a shriek, giving his attack away and me enough time to shift. My wolf wanted a piece of the action. As the creature flew towards us she jumped into the air and caught the vampire by the neck and twisted it around to where it was pinned beneath her and she shook her head, tearing his off. As I let go my team, their mates, the King, Dimitri, and my father all ran up in human form.
