F.C. 7

"Who are you? What do you want?"

The man took one step closer to us, and the vampires all snarled. He put up his hands to show he meant no harm and said, "Tanya? Is that really you?"

Tanya shrunk back in to Edward and cringed, as if this was the worst time that something like this could be happening, "What do you want Michael?"

Edward turned to her, surprised, "Do you know this man?"

Tanya nodded slowly, and the man answered for her, "Yes. We are mates. True mates. What you are feeling, it's not real- this is all a game for her," he gestured towards Tanya. "She doesn't really love you, and you don't really love her- it's simply her power, making men fall for her."

Edward went rigid, "What are you talking about?! Of course we are truly in love! I know about her power, okay? She wouldn't use it on me! She probably used it on you! Right, Tanya?"

Tanya turned towards Edward, put her hands on his face, and said, "Of course I love you!"

Just then, the man laughed mirthlessly, " What a great show my love. You, boy, she's has to be at least two hundred years older than you! Don't you think there's something odd about that?"

"Age doesn't matter to us! Everyone knows you'll find your true mate as long as you wait for her to come along."

Edward's voice started getting louder and louder, until he was yelling. It was deafening. Carlisle stepped forward and put his hand on Edward's shoulder, "Son, enough. Tanya, take Edward home. Alice, Rosalie, Esme, take Isabella."

The girls nodded their heads, but didn't look too excited about leaving their male counterparts behind.

I wanted to stay, too, but I knew that the girls would force me to and I wouldn't be able to stop them.

Alice was the first to react. She straightened and then, faster than my eyes could follow, scooped me up into her arms and ran to the car. She dumped me in the back seat and then left the door open. Rosalie and Esme slid into the car on either side of me, and Tanya followed a few seconds later, claiming the passenger seat.

We were back home in five minutes, ten times faster than it took to get there. No one spoke a word.

As soon as we got to the house, everyone was out of the car except for Esme, who helped me out with a smile on her face, "Sorry about all this sweety. This must be a lot to process on your own. How about we go to your room and get to know each other?"

I nodded my head and lead the way, trying not to get lost.

When we reached the big wooden double doors, we went through an I plopped down on my bed. Less than a second later, Esme had rearranged the pillows in a way that we could sit comfortably together.

"Tell me about yourself," she asked.

"What do you want to know?" I responded as I settled into the pillow formation.

"What's your favorite color?"

"Brown."

"Where is the one place in the world you'd like to be right now?"

I thought about that for a little while, "With people who love me."

Esme stared at me, "We can be very loving people, here."

"Oh yeah, I got that from the hostile ginger and creepy blonde."

Someone stood at the doorway, "You better not mean me." Rosalie.

"N-no," I stuttered, "I meant the other one. What's his name?"

Rosalie joined us on the bed as another person took her place at the door, "I hope you don't mean Jasper," said Alice, "He's just a little shy at first, until you get to know him, at least."

Now there were four of us on the bed.

Rosalie took up the questions now: "If you could visit any place in the world, where would you go?"

"I don't really know. I've always just wanted to go somewhere warm."

"Paris?" Sighed Rosalie.

"Italy," added Alice.

"It's a plan," said Esme.

"What?" I asked in surprise.

"Why not go?" Asked Esme.

"I got the clothes!" exclaimed Alice, as she sashayed out the room.

"I'll handle the sight seeing," claimed Rosalie, and then she was gone too.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa!" I said, "What is going on?! We can't just list off an idea and then decide to go the next second!"

"Why not?" asked yet another person from the doorway. It was Edward.

"Edward!" I exclaimed, "What happened? Are you alright?"

"I'm fine," Tanya came and stood next to him, kissing him full-on the mouth. I blushed and looked down.

Edward was sitting next to me in an instant, leavin Tanya at the door, "You're beautiful when you blush."

He put his hand under my chin and made me look at him.

"She's not otherwise?" Esme chided.

"She is always," Edward whispered.

The next second, Tanya had grabbed Edward's wrist and was puling him out my room.

He looked back at me and said, "Get ready for Italy," then left the room with Tanya still very much attached to him.
