"IVY GET TO THE WINDOW NOW!" Harley screeched from across the abandon apartment complex. The redhead, befuddled, ran in as fast as she could, still in an over sized t-shirt and shorts, to see Harley pressing her nose against the payne of the window.

"It's SNOWING," she exclaimed. Ivy frowned and cocked her head at her partner in crime. She brushed her hair back angrily.

"I thought something was wrong," she stated, and Harley looked at her with wide eyes.

"There is something wrong. We aren't rolling around out there!" she yelled, throwing her hands up in the air. Excitedly, she leapt out of the window, with Ivy calling out behind her.

"Don't hurt yourse-" she paused. "Oh, whats the point," she mumbled, and she went to go put on actual clothes.

Once Ivy was dressed, she walked back into the living room to find a snow covered Harley, giggling while her frizzy pigtails flew all over.

"That was so much fun!" she exclaimed. She went to go hug Ivy, but she put her hand out, stopping her.

"You are melting, my dear. " she felt a smile form on her lips. "Wash and warm up, then we'll hug." Eagerly, Harley ran to change her clothes.

Becoming instantly bored, Ivy flipped on the box television that the had, and noticed a news reporter smiling cheerfully with a red nose and earmuffs.

"The crime rate has drastically dropped in Gotham now that the holidays are coming along. Expecting a few feet of snow, stay inside and warm!" he announced, and the channel changed to a commercial. Ivy stood up with an idea, as she dashed to her greenhouse.

She walked back into the living room just as Harley was walking out with a towel wrapped around her head. Ivy smiled.

"It's almost Christmas, my dear," she told Harley, and the blonde looked at the pot in Ivy's hands.

"You...got me a plant? Yay! " she cheered, and Ivy shook her head , laughing.

"It's our tree. It's just a sapling, but it will grow swiftly," she informed Harley, and she ran into her room.

"I got just tha thing!" she called, as she ran back into the room with a string of Christmas lights.

"Decorations!" she declared, and Ivy put her hand on her hip.

"You just happened to have a string of lights in your room?" she giggled, and Harley nodded vigorously, her towel falling off her head.

"Well don't just stand there! We got some decoratin' to do!" she smiled at her.

Harley and Ivy hung up the Christmas around the room and windows, and afterwards the cut paper snowflakes to tape to the windows. It was a slight culture change, considering they have only used scissors to attack someone, not make frilly little decor items. Nevertheless, they were proud of their creations and taped them over the cracks of the window. Harley looked at the tree.

"Woah! It's almost full grown!" she smiled, and Ivy smiled back.

"Ready to decorate the tree?" she offered.

Not having access to an real Christmas decorations and not being able to go out and buy some, the girls hung up whatever they thought was pretty on the tree. Necklaces, bracelets and charms, feather boas and scarves to replace garland, while Ivy put flower petals to add finishing touches and Harley spritzed the tree with perfume so it "spells purty."

Ivy and Harley sat down on the couch, proud of their twinkling and homemade creation. The girls began thinking of gifts to give to each other, as the snow continued gently falling to the ground.

"It's CHRISTMAS!" Harley yelled, bursting into Ivy's room and pouncing on her bed, all smiles. Ivy hid beneath the covers.

"It will still be Christmas in a few hours Harley. The sun isn't even awake, sweetie," she said, slight annoyance in her voice. Harley rolled from her position and laid beside her, giggling.

"Oh come on, I worked really hard on your present. And I wanna see mine! Let's go!!!" she squeaked, and Ivy peeked from the covers.

"Fine. Only because I'm curious what you got me." she smiled, and the girls found themselves in the living room once more.

"Me first!!! Meeee," Harley squealed, and Ivy went behind the tree and pulled out a warhammer.

"Merry Christmas, sweetie!" she said, and handed her blonde friend the hammer.

The hammer itself was a shiny silver, and wrapped around it was the stem of a rose, at the bottom a blood red rose lay. There was open areas where Harley could put her hands, and she awed at it for several minutes.

"Every time you kill someone, the rose lives just a little bit longer!" Ivy added, and it made her jump up and down with glee.

"I love you Ivy!" she proclaimed, and she sat the hammer on the couch, wrapping her arms around Ivy's neck, squeezing her into a tight hug. Harley backed away and grinned widely.

"Your turn!" Harley dashed off into her room, and came out scratching her head.

"It's around here somewhere...." she went into the bathroom and came back out.

"Here!" she said, thrusting a vase into Ivy's hands.

It was a collage of colors- like a rainbow after a stormy sky. Pastel blues, pinks, and yellows adorned the vase, and it was covered in a protective glaze, giving it a shine and sparkle. Harley smiled proudly.

"I made it all myself!" she praised, as a little child would, and Ivy shook with happiness.

"It's beautiful! " she said, and she gave Harley a great bear hug.

"This is the best Christmas ever!" Harley heaved out, and Ivy squeezed tighter.

"It is," she sniffed.
