Mr. Lam, or now called Nathan when not in school, was helping Eleanora make dinner as they both checked the stew in the pot. Deciding that it still needed some steaming, they both set on other tasks. Eleanora started to set the table for three, while Nathan prepared the Ceaser's Salad to go along with their pot roast.
"At what time did Apollyon say he'd be back?" Nathan inquired to Eleanora, who was now sitting at the table.
"Last when I called, he was just closing up the shop." Eleanora informed while drumming her fingers against the table top. "He sounded really happy."
"Any idea what he is working on?"
"Nope. He is very good at keeping information hidden." Eleanora stated as Nathan chuckled.
They both lapsed into a comfortable silence as they set up the table, both of them settling down at the table as they waited for Apollyon. Suddenly Eleanora's vision became black as she sat up straight in surprise, but a smile formed on her lips as she felt soft lips press against the side of her head.
Her vision went back to color again as Apollyon removed his hands from her eyes, as she noticed Nathan smiling at the two.
"Hey there." Apollyon greeted with a grin as he pecked her lips.
"Hi." She smiled shyly in response as he removed his coat and slung it over the back of the vacant seat. "Should we dig in?"
"Definitely! I'm starved!" Apollyon grinned as he grabbed Eleanora's plate before she could protest and dug into the salad first before stuffing the plate with roast and putting it in front of her again. Eleanora gave him a dirty look as he stuffed his plate with food next before digging in.
"How was both of your day?" Apollyon inquired to his girlfriend and teacher.
"Good." Nathan responded. "She took her medications on time and slept for two hours during the afternoon."
"We went out for a walk-and yes I was sufficiently dressed." Eleanora informed. "We grabbed a cup of coffee on our way back, then we sat and watched some T.V before we started on dinner."
"Okay." Apollyon nodded after swallowing. "You didn't overexert yourself or something?"
"No." Nathan smiled at his concern. "I ensured to force her to walk really slow."
"How was your day?" Eleanora inquired to Apollyon once she rolled her eyes in Nathan's direction.
"It was good." He grinned. "Jack wants to give me a raise for all my great work, and today, this guy with this Ferrari comes to the shop, asking for me."
"Really?" Eleanora inquired in interest. "What did he want?"
"Two things." Apollyon stated. "One: To figure out what was wrong with the Ferrari. It needed an oil change. Two: He wanted me to model for him."
Instantly both Eleanora and Nathan started to choke on their food as Apollyon looked at them in concern. Taking a sip of their water, they settled down their coughing fits before turning to Apollyon incrediously. "He what?"
"He wanted me to model for him." Apollyon informed again. "Said he had been watching me and wanted me to model for him."
"What did you say?" Eleanora inquired in shock.
"I told him no." He stated as if it were the most obvious thing in the world.
Nathan and Eleanora looked at each other with open mouths before turning back to Apollyon. "Why?"
"For starters: It was in Quebec, and there is no way that I am leaving. Second: I like my job at the garage and I'm getting a raise, I like to get dirty in oil grease and fix cars that are beyond repair, only to prove everyone wrong. Third: I am not getting naked in front of a camera."
