Jimmy the Puppet- a Walsanderson fanfic

The Book

The book's pages were fragile and old, the paper crinkled, and the words all written with pen and ink.
The first page opened to a handwritten table of contents, which all read of various types of spells and potions.
"Go to the love spells," Neil said.
Barry flipped through the book to the chapter about love spells, finding it close to the back of the book.
"Okay... so, we've got spells for making two people fall in love, spells about keeping love strong... here we go, spells about making someone fall out of love," Barry read through them.
"Most of them are placed on an object. The only way to break the spell is to destroy the object. The next few spells are about making someone fall in love with you. Jimmy probably used both on separate objects," Barry explained as he looked through the instructions on each spell.
"Okay, wait, we don't even know if this book is real yet. Shouldn't we try something basic and harmless on someone or something?" Dani suggested.
"That's probably a good idea. Can you find a harmless spell?" Brad asked and Barry flipped back to the table of contents.
"We could make someone able to read someone here's mind. Or make someone who holds an object fall asleep as soon as they touch it, then destroy the object," Barry said.
"I've got a paper cup. Try the sleep one on that," Neil said.
Barry touched the cup Neil was holding and whispered the words off the paper in the best pronunciation he could- the spells were not in English, though the rest of the book was.
Neil suddenly fell forward, and Dani caught him before he crashed onto the floor. He was out cold.
Brad hesitantly pulled the cup out of Neil's hand and crushed it. Neil snapped awake. "Well, now we know it's real... so now we figure out which objects Jimmy enchanted and burn them," Neil said angrily.
"The puppet," Dani said, "One of them's the puppet."
"When Matt gets up we'll get the puppet out of his bunk," Brad added.
"For now, let's get some sleep. I'm tired as hell and we have a show tomorrow," Barry said, closing the book and walking back to the bunks.
The rest followed him and went to bed, but they all had trouble sleeping. Their minds were too busy trying to figure out the other object Jimmy had enchanted.

Jimmy woke up in the middle of the night to find his book lying on the floor. He knew that Dani and Neil had read it, as he had enchanted something to read their thoughts.
So they've got me figured out...
He walked to Matt's bunk and shook him awake.
"Matt, honey, could you do something for me?" Jimmy whispered.
"Anything, love," Matt replied.
Jimmy whispered into his ear.
Matt's eyes widened. "But... they're my friends..."
"You love me, don't you?" Jimmy pleaded.
"Yes, of course," Matt answered.
"Then you'll do this for me, won't you?"
Matt nodded.
