"Kira! I've got some!" I was awoke by the sound of Joe knocking on my door. I didn't realise he had already been out and bought the hair dye while I had been sleeping.

"It's too early!" I shouted back and rolled over, hugging my pillow and getting comfortable. I shut my eyes and tried to go back to sleep but joe continued talking to me through the door.

"I had to go early so it wouldn't be busy and no one would recognise me. I got blonde, will that be ok? They won't recognise me will they?"

"No! Go back to bed!" I yelled.

"Please kira! I'm just so excited." He begged. I couldn't say no to his begs to I dragged myself out of bed slowly.

"I'm coming!" I yelled. I heard a cheer outside my door then he ran to the bathroom. I looked in my mirror and realised I looked horrific. I wiped the leftover mascara from under my eyes then slipped my hair into a messy bun. I made my way to the bathroom to find joe with the hair dye open and reading the instructions.

"Can you do it?" He asked.

"Yes but I'm going to cut it first, I don't know wether that's right but that's my way!" I replied. "Right, no mirror for you! I want it to be a surprise at the end when you see what you look like. "

"No! What if I don't like it?" He laughed.

"Then we shave it all off and you go bald!" I laughed as I waved the shaver in his face. He looked terrified until he realised I was joking.

I began to cut his hair. I did it short on the sides and long on to top. Nothing too complicated but it looked quite nice. It didn't look like anything too unique but enough to make him look different to what he previously did.

"How does it look?" He asked.

"Awful, I've given you a bowl cut!" I laughed.

"No! Don't scare me!" He moaned.

I began with the dye and then washed it out. He was bleach blonde and looked a little like Marcus. It didn't look bad at all and considering I had only ever dyed my own hair I was impressed. I'd never cut anyone's hair before either.

"Ready for the big reveal?" I asked.

"Go for it!" He replied actually looking rather nervous.

"3,2,1..." I pulled the towel off the mirror and he gasped in shock. I couldn't tell his reaction so I looked at his face. He was smiling so I knew I had done well. He ran his hand through his new quiff and smiled even more.

"I love it!" He smiled. He quickly grabbed me in a hug. "Thank you so much! You're the best sister ever!"

"You know technically I'm not your sister?" I asked.

"Technically you're not but to me you are,"
