Weaknesses: Quite slow moving, needs a bit more heart raising action.
Personal response: Maybe, this is how I want to live.
Genre: Generally, everything comes into this book.
Action: The majority of the action takes place in the farmhouse or in John's truck.
The author, Sharon Creech, engulfs me into her amazing world description.
Main characters: Jacob, John, Marta, cows and the lambs.
Writing Style: 'The Boy on the Porch' is written in the 3rd person. This makes me feel like I'm watching from above.
